Love, love, love this nail salon !! I have been going to this nail salon for about 1 year now. The employees that work here are nice, well spoken and do a great job. If something isn’t right, these people fix it. The tools are sterile, the chairs are clean and the selection of nail colors is complete. They have all the polishes … In all the colors. Jacob is a sweetheart. I have observed him with the customers and he is great with people. I usually go during the day and before the weekend and I’ve never had to wait for a pedicure or a nail refill. Okay… It may be a little bit more than other salons but is saving $ 1more important than cleanliness, No Way. It’s worth every penny. This is a relaxing enjoyable experience and I recommend the John V Salon to my friends and family.

This review is specifically for hair services. A friend highly recommended that I try Billy Jones, a professional stylist at this salon. I usually get highlights & a cut/​style. My first appointment with him went amazingly well, And I’m a hard customer to please because my hair is long and can be difficult to highlight (because my roots tend to get very brassy if not done properly). I’ve been his regular customer since September 2015, as well as my boyfriend who also loves the way Billy styles his hair too. So if you are really picky about your hair and have doubts about who to go to, give Billy Jones a try at John V salon in Covington. Also, I should also comment that their salon is always super clean and really nice on the inside. Their nail services are always busy, so they must do a good job with that as well.

Got my very first manicure at this salon for my wedding day, so I was very nervous. I got the basic manicure and gel paint in OPI’s Bubble Bath. The manicurist was very sweet and careful, and explained everything she was doing while she was working. My nails look great and I’m very excited to show off my beautiful hands at my wedding.

Excellent spot on the northshore to get your nails done. Being a lover of a regular gel mani/​pedicure, I’m very happy that I found this place. The place is immaculate; all tools are packaged in the surgical packs, which is great. Additionally, you can tell that the place is just maintained/​cleaned well; no dust bunnies or tumble weeds of hair floating around (they do hair, too). I can’t attest for the spa or hair services, but the pedicures are fantastic and they do an excellent job on my gel manicures. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and it’s obvious they put customer satisfaction above all else. If looking for a place on the northshore, I highly recommend John V.

Beautiful salon! I love this place! They always get us in quickly and do a wonderful job. They even do a good job on my husbands feet! Absolutely recommend this salon.

Called and booked appointment, was able to get in the very next day. I choose the Pamper Me Please combo, which consists of a massage, manicure and pedicure.
The massage therapist was WONDERFUL, her name was Kayla. She went beyond to make my massage well worth it, as I did go in with a hurting shoulder.
The pedicure was enjoyable to have with the hot stones and sugar scrub. Enjoyed it, Thanks April! The manicure was great as well. These people are they to pamper you and want it to be an enjoyable experience, and that’s just what I got! I would recommend all my friends and family to go get pampered at Jonh V Salon. It was well worth every dime I spent and I will be returning in a few weeks!

It seems that getting a pedicure in a new location (at least as a guy) is hit or miss. Often times there is not an understanding of what guys are looking for. Not here, They have sports pedicures right on the list of services in addition to the more traditional Spa styles and they catered differently to the men that came in. (As a side note, at one of the «miss» places I have been to in the past, I continued to confuse the person doing the pedi because I didn’t want «color» on my toes)
The place is very modern, clean and comfortable. Everyone was very polite and I was able to get right in without an appointment. They have a large number of employees and stations (12 – 14 pedicure chairs and Manicure stations to do 15 at a time).
Oh and for a bonus when you sit down, they offer you water, soft drinks or wine.
Prices were clear in the offerings and for $ 40 or $ 45 (can’t remember now) the pedicure was full service including all of the foot treatment you would expect plus a sugar scrub, something else I can’t identify and then a moisturizer of some kind. Then hot stone massage and hot towel wrap. They also had a basis pedicure for less than that. The prices were comparable to any other «nails» only place o have been
I decided to get a manicure as well. All the same great experiences.
I didn’t take advantage of these additional services that they seem to have but others there did…
Waxing, salon services for hair and color etc, and threading. They even had what looked like a little coffee bar off to the side.

This was the best pedicure I have ever had! It is very clean, very friendly, and very relaxing! They had a number of different pedicures to choose from that range in price. The prices were very reasonable for the service I received. I was offered a complementary drink while I was there. The lady who did my pedicure was very thorough, and she did a great job! There was no feeling of being rushed so they could get to the next person as quick as possible. I will definitely be back!

I received a pedicure with callus scrub, rock massage, hot towel on leg, and brand new OPI nail polish –all for $ 30.
Very hygienic here. All tools are packages in surgical packages.
All the technicians speak English very well if you have something specific you want.
I think this place is a really good deal for all the service you receive and the complimentary beverages/​wine!
Lots of space, so bring friends!
