Absolutely ridiculous ordeal. If you’re looking for car repairs, go somewhere else. My wife and I both took our cars in for repair and both of them were returned to us with the problem unresolved. In fact, when I went to pick my car up from having the check engine light investigated and supposedly fixed, the battery was dead! After I jumped it, the check engine light was still on AND the other problem I reported was still happening. There’s NOWAY they drove either car after supposedly«fixing» them. And I have to agree that besides one of the guys I’ve talked to, the customer service leaves something to be desired. If they rectify these issues, I’ll update my rating, but as it stands now, I will NEVER use them again.

Love, love, love these guys. I’ve had them check my brakes, A/C and other compenents. Brakes didn’t need work A/C just needed re-charging, etc. They’ve had multiple opportunities to take advantage of us and never do. Thank you Covington Tire Factory!

These are honest auto service guys. I have been going here for 10 years and they have never let me down. Don’t get put off by the waiting area or what it looks like. All those bells and whistles at the other guys are going to cost you, especially when they gouge you into repairs you don’t need. The Guys at Covington tire are excellent mechanics and isn’t that what you are looking for?

This is an excellent location, with very knowledgeable staff. They recently changed to Covington Tire & Service and are not affiliated with the Tire Factory. They always treat me with honesty and perform the needed repairs, without up sell. They were even able to get me in at the last minute on a Saturday for a brake repair so I could leave on vacation. Covington Tire & Service provides expert repair with honesty and integrity.

As far as automotive places go, there are always the horror stories you hear about getting ripped off but that is not the case here. My family and I only take our cars here because they have amazing service and because of that we have a great business relationship. The guy at the front desk can be kind of gruff but he really is a very nice guy. They always have coupons for oil changes and they get you in and out very quickly. I never feel taken advantage of here and I never get the annoying sales pitch like at other places. I definitely recommend Covington Tire!

I have always had the most fantastic service and prices at this location. I only put Nokian tires on my cars, which are a bit expensive and come from Finland, but they are totally worth it and the staff there knows it. I was worried about one(or more) of my rims being a bit out of round, but they fixed that for me too, all under the quoted price and in less time than they told me it would take. I have brought four different cars here for Nokians and would recommend them any day for tire service. I cannot speak to the service issues others have faced, as the staff has always been first class; perhaps a bad day all around?

I brought my 2001 Pontiac in for some front end adjustment. They were able to do the work the same day. The work was done quickly and efficiently and for a good price.

First let me say for tire service there is a young man there who is awesome and set me up with the best tires I have ever had on any of my vehicles. Wtih that said, I thought I would try them for a warning light issue I was having on my dashboard. AFter keeping my car for most of the day I was told I needed a new battery $ 130.00 even though I was having no problem starting my car. Next day, same problem. took it back and was told by a rude service manager that I would have to leave my car overnight for them to re enact my problem. Not possible as I live alone and need my car to drive to and from work. After a week or so of the problem getting worse I went back and spoke to the owner and addressed my concerns about the treatment I had recieved. They ran a test on my alternator and although it seemed to test fine I was then told by the service manager that I needed a new alternator $ 400 as it could be having an intermitten failure problem. When I asked why they told me I needed a battery he said they do not like to start off with replacing the alternator. In fairness to him the alternator did not test out to be faulty but there was nothing wrong with the battery either. Anyway I went to a different mechanic, he cleaned a sensor in my radiator reservoir(I think that is what it is called) put some fluid in and voila no more red light. So be warned if you are like me and have little knowledge when it comes to cars pass this place by for service assistance
