I’ve stayed at Copp Hollow a number of times and each experience has been better than the last! I brought my entire family(8 people) to this cute B&B in north central PA for the first time in October of 2011 after being referred there by a classmate from the area. It is this super charming cabin(although cabin isn’t quite the right word, its a huge house, that has sort of a Victorian log cabin feel… if there is such a thing!) that sits at the top of a long driveway sort of nested into the woods. A prefect long weekend get-a-way. The owners of the B&B, Ellie and Lou, are super nice people, really attentive and concerned with your stay. What was really nice for my big family was the big dining room table they have, that seats like 10 people, which made it easy for us all to eat together. There’s a nice breakfast provided in the a. m and then we usually end up venturing out for lunch and dinner. The town of Wellsboro is so picturesque and there are a lot of nice spots to eat there. I like staying out of the town a bit to get that woodsy feel — Copp Hollow is maybe a 7 minute drive outside of ‘downtown’ Wellsboro. Copp Hollow has a nice resource/pamphlet area where you can pick up brochures on things going on in the area, and Ellie is really knowledgeable about seasonal events in town. Would highly, highly recommend this place in your planning to be in North Central PA!
