BEST WESTERN Northpark Inn

Unexpected, liked this place more than I thought I would. I love being able drive right up to the room door. They have a great pet policy and pet rooms even a pillow for them to lay on. Breakfast was a little bit boring and the same thing everyday. I have already booked my next visit.

Family of 4, after staying here while road tripping we are pleased! Best western will be the place we choose when on the road.
The room was spacious and included: microwave, refrigerator and all other usual things. It was clean and felt safe.
Parking is right outside the door. Breakfast was great! There is a Burger King next door and considered going prior to seeing what was served. They have fruit, cereal, pastries, biscuits and gravy, egg, bacon, sausage, waffles. Impressed with all that’s included for such a low rate.

You get what you pay for. The rates are cheap (I usually bid $ 64 a night) there is plenty of well-​lit parking and hotel is clean. This is not a fancy resort but the staff is always great to me and my daughters. The pool is clean and well-​maintained. (Although they almost encourage kids to pee in the pool since there is no bathroom nearby. What kid gets out of a pool to pee if they have to go across the parking lot to their room?) The free breakfast is worth it for the Community Coffee. Love it! (The reconstituted eggs gotta go and please put out some fresh fruit.)

In town while driving to Florida, we stopped here both on the way in and on the way home mainly because of location, but price was also a factor. This review is a summary of both trips, but any specifics will be about the trip home as it’s been a while and I’m liable to forget anything specific from that time. So, on with the review.
Arriving around 4pm, check in was quick and easy. Liz remembered me from my previous trip and welcomed me back, remembering my room preferences (no, she didn’t look it up). Our room was a standard 2 queen room (228 on way in, 236 on way out) which, on the outside, looks like a 1980’s travel motel. However, on the inside, things were night and day different. The beds are super soft and comfortable, the tv reception is decent and the wifi is ok. (the closer you are to the center of the building, the better your signal, so ask for a room in the middle if you need good reception).
The room itself is standard sized with a coffee maker, iron and board, microwave and ridge. There are plenty of power sockets and there is a plush leather chair in this room (soft enough my daughter slept on it both times).
Our reservation includes free breakfast, which consisted of bacon, sausage patties, egg rounds (for sandwiches), biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal and pastries.
The only bad things I can say about this property is the fact that roku and chromecasts won’t work due to the wifi gatekeeper software and the fact that there is no sleep timer option on the tv’s. One would think this would be standard in hotels., but alas.
We will definitely be back to the Northpark Inn on future trips to the NOLA Area and recommend it to any who are looking for a good night sleep without breaking the bank.

it’s clean, the staff is friendly, and the price isn’t terribly high. they have a nice lobby and offer free breakfast. i’d stay again.

It is more like motel, building is old, since next to the street, you can hear cars passing by, not a very quiet environment.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Clean rooms & very nice staff. We were traveling with our dog & they had a few rooms designated as pet friendly

Very clean. Great staff. Newly renovated room. I am super picky about clean and this place met my standards. Would stay again. Good breakfast. They went the extra step to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Old building but don’t shy away because of it.
