We’ve come here a few times at first it was a great local spot to come get all Our hydro needs. But one day, I read previous reviews and they stated that they bought expired nutrients so we checks ones we had just bought, and sure enough… expired. Ok, fine, things like that could slip by. Today. We called because we desperately needed pots, I told him I’d be there, but he said he was leaving at 5. I made it to the store at 5:01 and everything was locked up tight. I guess they don’t need the business.. might be worth it to drive a little further for better customer service. If it were me, id at least given it 5:05… but thats just me.

I’m pretty appalled at the treatment I received from the business owner of such a huge, lucrative store in Covina, Amazon, and Ebay too. 7÷1÷14 — Wanted to reorder an item that I previously ordered in Aug 2013, referred back to the purchase via email because the owner Keith Thai doesn’t have any record of my purchase. Email from August shows he asked me to wire a deposit into his bank: 2 Bonsai Heros and a case of Xplode, plus shipping for $ 20 for a total of $ 1700. I made a Bofa deposit and even overpaid by $ 10; Keith offered to refund me. Never got an invoice or receipt. Fast forward to now, I wanted to make the same purchase, except now those 2 same items have a higher price«because the previous purchase price was a mistake.» Wow, really, +$ 79 hike? No prob, I’ll pay that. I looked back at the deposit slip and realized I paid $XXX for that case of Xplode that never came. Never even seen it, remember it, or sold it. Horrible of me to even pay for it and not remember to check for it, but mistakes happen. I didn’t even realize it until now. Keith mentions because it has been nearly a year, he cannot compensate me for anything. Had it been 2 months, he would be able to do something, I understand. But help me out! Business owner to business owner, if someone paid me for goods, I need to deliver. Meet me half way! Do something so I won’t feel so bad that I just threw away $XXX to this store! Foster a business relationship so we can continue to do business! What kind of a super store is this? I suggested different ways to resolve this. From giving me a deal on those 2 items I want, to checking his shipping department, to searching his records. I am here wondering, did it get shipped? Could it have gotten lost in the mail? Any records? NOTHING! Cannot give me the old deal, cannot give me a discount, cannot give me the benefit of a doubt. NOTEVENANAPOLOGY. Can’t even redeem that $ 10 shipping credit he owes me. Now I can’t even do business with this store anymore. I have to tell my customer I can’t get him Bonsai Heros. The poor old guy is going to have to use his hands to cut until he develops arthritis. Going to double my money on buying Mega Millions today. And I’m over it.

I paid a rush fee, and next day air. I had to call them to remind them of my order then they shipped it usps not next day. I called when I found this out. and got an attitude from the lady that worked there. then she tried to repeatedly give the wrong refund amount. less of course than it should have been. I had to argue to get the correct amount.

Stopped by here the other day to pick up some good soil and other supplies for growing a vegetable/hot pepper garden. The guy behind the counter was very knowledgeable and helpful. You’ll get better quality soil here than you would at your typical hardware store, and it’s not much more money. I’ll be coming back in the future, and am just glad to have found a place where I can get answers and suggestions.
