Janet is great! I am the type of person that doesn’t know exactly what I want, so I encourage a stylist’s professional opinion. I loved the way my hair turned out. I will definitely be coming back here!

My mom and I have been going to Janett for almost more than a year. She does an awesome job in cutting our hair. I just got highlights recently and I really love the way my highlights came out. Janett is really a wonderful hairstylist and very friendly and very professional in advising what color or haircut and products is good for our hair. We will always be going to her for our haircuts. I give her two thumbs up because she is a totally awesooooooooooome hairstylist. :)

I always try to be early for my appointments. Do not come early if you’re the 1^st appointment of the day. Janet did not get to the shop until a few minutes after my appointment. I waited outside for 10 minutes thinking I had my signals crossed. Not a huge deal, but something to consider if you’re a first time customer.

I have been going to Janett for many years now. She is like family! She remembers all of her clients and takes the time to get to know you. She is a lovely lady. She owns her own hair salon, which is beautiful. I love the plants inside. She is a professional and an amazing hair stylist. She has been a hair stylist for many years and is quick when she cuts your hair. She will tell you what will look good on you and what to avoid. Her prices are reasonable and affordable. She is definitely a keeper!

Janet is great! My wife has followed her from Azusa to Glendora to San Dimas to her own place now in Covina. She is always professional and attentive. My wife has curly hair and Janet does an incredible job layering her hair or providing her with a new look. Now my two daughters (9 and 5) are regulars here as well. In fact, my daughter’s first haircut was courtesy of Janet. Needless to say, Janet’s skill is equally impressive for adults or children. Her facility is clean and well stocked. Definitely recommend this place because Janet is a wonderful hair dresser!

This place is great i first Went to Janett last year to fix a haircut i had gotten from someone that messed it up… She did a great job!!! i love her!!! she is very sweet and nice. Takes her time with you and doesn’t rush. i only go to her now and i always get complements on my hair. I recommended her to everybody i know and they love it! she is great!

I don’t get it, why hasn’t anybody Unilocaled this place yet? Sheesh. Okay, I guess I’ll have to get this party started.
Janett is located in the attention-​Kmart-​shoppers shopping center on the corner of Citrus Ave & Covina Blvd.
I’ve been there several times in the last 8 months. I live in Covina and work in Lost Angeles. For the sake of convenience, I strayed a few times to other places in L.A. during my lunch hour. Each time I wished I hadn’t. Each time the first clue given of things to come was for the haircutterist to spin my seat around and not allow me to see the scissors hacking a-​happening.
«Hi, my name is Vic and I like to watch», I would then say. This intro used to get peoples’ attention at parties. Why has it no effect at hair places? Why do these people insist on facing me away from the action, from the mirror? What gives? It didn’t use to be this way.
Needless to say, Janett always lets me watch. She’s nice, that way. She also happens to be easy on the eyes.
Ahem, as I was saying, Janett used to work for another salon in San Dimas before she decided to open her own digs. She has many years of hair experience and it shows during her Edward-​Scissorhands-​like slicing and dicing performance. It’s fun to see her work her scissors like a pair of razors. She actually slices my hair off instead of snipping. Dern, them scissors are sharp! Lorena Bobbitt would salivate if she saw these cute little snippers a-​slicin’.
I’ve a head of dense hair with a difficult swirl and other probs. She knows how to deal with it and make it all work. She has a tooth-​full set of scissors to thin it out and make it lay right.
Give her a shot and come back with a review. I suggested to her she open a facebook page. Alas, she appears to be internet challenged. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
