I cannot say enough good things about this place! My husband and I have been searching for a good Filipino spot around the Azusa area and we are so glad we found this place! They have excellent customer service. I feel like we are at home when we go there! From the friendliness of the staff to the food! We love their breakfast, we’ve come for lunch and their adobo is PERFECT! Their Lechon is also very very good! Everything we’ve had is awesome!

Stopped by to grab some food for dinner. Had the lechon kawali and calamari. Lechon was really good and very crispy. The calamari was quite different as it was a whole squid, but it’s excellent! Staff was very courteous too. Will def be back for the calamari!

Great food! Very friendly owners. We enjoy their dishes esp the sisig, calamari, tapsilog, tosilog and all the breakfast«silogs.» Jeprox is awesome! First time we had it was at Herbie’s! !! One of the cooks is the former owner of Jannah’s — Noël. Go on weekends for the buffet. You will not be disappointed!

We stopped in again after a while and discovered they had a brunch buffet. It was great. The variety they put out on the weekend is worth the trip here. You can count on us coming back. They charge a fair price and had a wonderful selection. I was glad they had vegetables the day we came.

Have you bee to a restaurant where the food is pretty good, but they have no business opening up a business? That’s my experience here. The food was OK. I am no expert and even like your typical fast food Filipino restaurants, but I do expect the person to speak some English, know how to handle the food, the register, etc. Hope this place can stay open. There was a similar place open here before and they closed before I could even try it. May give them one more shot since it’s the closest Filipino food near my office, but only if I don’t have time to drive to DJs.

I placed an order for delivery an hour ago, was not told the total, nor was given a time that it would arrive. I received two calls from the delivery driver, of which I assume does not own a GPS, because I was asked for directions to our place of business. Both times, very descriptive directions were given, and each within the span of 20 minutes from each other. The location is about 8 minutes driving distance from our location? I think the delivery system needs to be attained to. It does not leave a very good first impression. At this point, even if the food is amazing. I don’t see myself ordering from here or stepping in.

Saw this place when it opened. Serves Filipino style breakfast all day long which is a plus. Cost of food was on the high side compared to the other places down Azuza with also slightly smaller portions. But overall decent in you don’t want to drive further.

I was craving tapsilog and found this place close by. To non-Filipinos tapsilog is short for tapa, sinangag and itlog. Tapa is marinated pan fried beef flap meat, sinangag is fried rice and itlog is egg. The tapa had a good flavor, not salty and overly spiced with vinegar. The fried rice was light, fluffy and garlicky. The eggs were cooked beforehand and were kept in the warmer thus the whites were kind of rubbery. All in all I enjoyed my heavy breakfast. They accept catering and while I was waiting for my food I saw trays of turon(banana egg rolls) being brought out to cool before the customer comes to pick them up. It also has a small convenience store that carries some of the popular Filipino snacks, rice, and Coney Island ice cream. They have cold and hot water dispenser just in case you don’t want to drink the sodas, juices or teas that are cooling in the fridge. Parking wasn’t a problem but I’m not sure when it gets closer to lunch time. Customer service was nice. I was greeted by the elderly lady when I walked in and she even assisted me with my food. When I asked to have the tapa cooked well done she accepted it with a smile and took it to the kitchen without complaining. If I’m around the area, I’d be sure to come back and check out the other dishes they have on display.

Tried to get breakfast Sunday with my brother and we were assured that we could get whatever by owner before he left on an errand. Were asked«here or to go?». We said for here. When my brother tried to get breakfast he was told by an older lady«no breakfast», so he ordered fish from one of the trays.. . When I ordered I asked if they had run out of breakfast food. A younger gal said breakfast was OK. What gives? All of the advertising says«ALLDAYBREAKFAST» !! In the end my brother was not happy with his fish, and I felt bad, because I had been talking this place up. ALLDAYBREAKFASTORNOT? Or do workers need to know that breakfast is advertised as being available all day? I still like the food. I just felt like I had to argue just to have a few eggs and some sausage and garlic rice(which was good), but once again I feel bad my brother could not try out what he wanted, since he has not been exposed to much Filipino food, and that he paid for both of us! Plus we were assured before that it would not be a problem to have a dish cooked to order. Since my brother paid and said he did not want to make waves, I did not say anything at the time.. .

Lots of fresh renovations from the old Jannah’s Kusina & Grill including having a mini-grocery and a bigger, better and fresher dine-in place. We enjoyed the food at Jannah’s before and considered it a life-saver because for most days we didn’t have to cook anymore. Having Jannah’s also kept us from having to drive all the way to West Covina for Filipino food. Now with the new owners, they are still carrying over some of the good dishes from Jannah’s and then adding their own recipes/specialties. Herbie and his mom are very nice and accommodating. On weekends they also have buffet for brunch. Now we don’t have to drive to Lee Lin’s at Eagle Rock or Cerritos for Pinoy breakfast buffet. And more improvements are promised by the new owners including wait for it… KARAOKE! Please just don’t sing«My Way» over and over like in the Philippines. LOL They also have a consistent menu now so we can see what food they have for a particular day. As always it’s best to call ahead if you want to reserve something or want to order something a la carte(like crispy pata etc). Go give them a try!
