I have nothing but great things to say about this place. LUCY has cut my hair on and off for over 5 years now. She’s the only girl that I trust to cut/​trim my hair, and she makes my hair GROW sooo long. She is just the best. The prices are very affordable $ 25 for wash and cut, compared to other hair salons where I’ve paid a ridiculous $ 50 for the same thing. She always gives me good advise on how to take better care of my hair. Thank You Lucy for all that you do.

About the salon: This is an all in the family type business, everyone is related. The inside is rather dirty, you can see dust and hair everywhere. They do not clean their scissors or brushes between clients. Their wax is communal, they double dip and use the same applicator for everyone. I never noticed the faults of this place until I started having a problem in their quality of work. I had seen some episodes of Tabitha’s Salon Takeover and started seeing some of the uncleanliness of the shops on the show in this place. A color/​cut can run over $ 100 for long hair. Male cut only $ 25. Root $ 40. Most services are a minimum $ 30 – 40 depending on length of hair.
I had been coming to this place for years, but my prior 2 hairdressers there left. So I started seeing Lucy. She used to do a great job, but I think she became complacent, or no longer cared. One time she cut my hair and when I got home my mom pointed out a few chunks of hair that had not been cut. My mom had to cut them to even it out. Another time she did my roots and a few days later I noticed that it looked like I still had roots. She did not match the color of the root to the body of hair which on light brown/​blonde hair is highly noticeable. I had to go back and she fixed it for free and even cut my hair. After that I lost all faith. I started going to a good friend who is also a hairdresser and she pointed out so much that was wrong with my hair. Once again the length was not even… As in one side was longer than the other and the back was shorter than the front. I was almost in tears that Lucy would have let me walk out of the chair like that. I have not been back since and I never will. The reason I am not giving 1 star is because my prior hairdressers there always did such an amazing job. But it really says something when family leaves to go to another (non family) salon.
