Covina Food Truck Festival

Came here because I was following the Grilled Cheese Truck. :)
But dude they charged 5.00 per person just to go in for only two food trucks! This was on a Saturday hosted by the school I believe. The other food truck was Nom Nom.
It wasn’t worth the 5.00 entrance when we already have to pay 5+ dollars for the Grilled cheese sandwich!

This is going to be every Tuesday night from 6 pm to 9 pm for the near future.
Held in the parking lot of Charter Oak High School, as a benefit to help the COHS band.
Different trucks every week.
1^st week was Grill em’ all, Grilled Cheese, Nom Nom, King Kone, and a couple other dessert ones.
2^nd week was TapaBoyLA, Ta_​Bom, MightyBoba, JoseOMalleys, & NaanStop.
Shorter Lines, great variety, lots of grass to sit on, lots of fun
Still hard to swallow the prices for these food trucks personally though.

AKA… Foodapalooza!
This would have been a 5 star review had the guys from Grill ‘Em All showed up on time. But they didn’t, in fact, they showed up about an hour late and took another 45 minutes to prep. So this totally clogged up the Grilled Cheese truck.
Luckily, the line at the Nom Nom truck was short enough and my GF was able to order a Pork Banh Mi. The banh mi was great. It was my GF’s first time and she fell in love. She had this look in her eye, it was special.
There was another burger truck, a cupcake truck and an ice cream truck also on the premises. But it seemed that everyone was here for the Grilled Cheese truck and Grill ‘Em All.
There was also a jazz band that played beautifully. I think if I wasn’t in a hunger daze, I probably would have turned around to find out the name of the band. I’m sorry, I was here for Grill ‘Em All.
Once the Grill ‘Em All truck finally opened, I was disappointed to find out that H-100’s and Truffle Oil weren’t available. I was so looking forward to the H-100’s. So what did I do? I ordered a Behemoth (burger, bacon, and grilled peppers between TWO grilled cheese sandwiches) and a side of Pommes Frites.
