A little pricy for the super fries but their bomb! Would recommend it that’s or the breakfast burrito.

Glad I found this Alfredos I always pass it when going into downtown Covina. Recently was upset with out greasy the california burritos got at Albertos. So definitely needed and new spot. Thought I’d try this place out! Initially when I got to the drive thru and started ordering I noticed most of the workers don’t speak much english, but hey they try and that’s cool with me as long as they get the order right and yup they did. First time here I obviously ordered a cali burrito! Which was surprisingly the best I’ve had. It wasn’t dripping with grease. The meat was fresh. The CHEESE was actually MELTED! Unlike albertos. Second time around ordered fish tacos and Carne asada. The fish tacos are great and so are the Carne asada. They use the smaller tortillas which I like. Will definitely be back if they keep doin what they’re already doin!

Don’t eat here, I got food poisoning from the enchiladas and can’t believe Unilocal would delete the review and not care about the health of people and being honest

Is it the best Mexican food? Nah, probably not. The best service? Nope, not that either. So why four stars? This is arguably the best Mexican food in Covina, which, I grant you, is saying more about Covina than it is about Alfredo’s. Nevertheless, it’s pretty legit, and has lots of vegetarian options. My favorite menu items: breakfast burrito and the potato tacos. And when you’re hung over, nothing beats an iced cold horchata with a shot of rum. Okay, well, maybe an iced cold horchata, a shot of rum, and two Vicodins. Órale!

I LOVETHISPLACE. Food usually takes a big long but it is totally worth it. It’s better than the Alberto’s around the area for SURE!

Where to start, they use homemade flour tortillas. The super breakfast burrito is so good! They also have a chili relleno burrito that is amazing!!! Yes they do take a little while, that is because your order is made fresh, I just call my order in and pick up. The chili is very good also. The best breakfast burrito in town, hands down!

The food is great but the people that work there are terrible. There’s either the guy who tries to hit on me and every female friend I bring there or the girl who always gets my order wrong. Today that girl charged me $ 8.89 for something and only gave me 11¢ back when I gave her a 10 dollar bill. So when I told her that she still owed me a dollar she said, «Yeah, you only gave me $ 9.» When I told her I gave her a 10 because that’s all the cash I had on me, she rolled her eyes at me and brought back the dollar, kept the 11¢, and said, «here.» Somebody needs to go to this place and teach them customer service skills and basic fucking manners.

This place has really good carne asada burrito. The meat doesn’t feel greasy compared to other places. I’ve also tried their breakfast burrito, the«Super Breakfast Burrito» to be exact which was also really good. Finally, for being just a drive-thru they actually do pretty good service, especially compared to Alberto’s *ugh*. Definitely recommend it.

Long lunch lines, good food but the menu said burrito comes with rice and beans, NOT lettuce. I ordered the chile relleno burrito, very good but took like 2 minutes to try to get the lettuce out of the thing. I’ll be back but this time I will ask whats in the order.

Fish tacos are amazing here! And nachos are way better than Pepe’s. Ordered and got my food quickly. I’m glad I live walking distance away.

in the mood for breakfast burrito what i ate — breakfast burrito: delicious, filled with eggs, potatoes, meats of all kinds. pros: — drive through: i’m lazy. — delicious food for reasonable prices — a few tables outside for you to eat your food cons: — took foreverrrrrr. i ordered two breakfast burritos and they took nearly ten mins. at one point i turned off my car because i realized it would be a wait. would i come again? sure.

First time I ate here I had the chicken tacos which were 5 star delicious just as good as peeps if not better. My last visit I tried the potato and egg breakfast burrito it was flavorless. the potatoes were raw and hard even drenched in hot sauce the burrito was pretty bland and not good at all. Maybe hit and miss but that burrito was definitely a waste of money and calories. I’ll be back for those delicious tacos tho!

The shredded beef tacos and carne asada burritos are good and the red hot sauce has the right amount of kick. The problem I have is the order is wrong about 10% of the time.

The food’s pretty good… But the people that work there are consistently rude. I work across the street so I have lunch there often. The young lady working the cash register today maybe walk back across the street to get three pennies. I usually tip her at least $ 2 bucks. Ha-Ha They just lost a good customer for three cents

I was craving a chicken burrito so much. Sadly, this place was not so great. I didn’t order chicken bones but I sure got them. Lots of tortilla and sauce. I might retry this place… not really sure.

I like the food at this location. I usually stop by for a breakfast burrito, the flour tortilla is fresh like if they make it right there. I also enjoy the 3rolled taquitos with cheese & guacamole. Everything’s fresh and made to order.

I was in the area, never been here before, but liked the Unilocal reviews, so I stepped up to the counter. But… Here is my beef… there was hardly any in my beef burrito! I ordered the chimichanga. It was an all meat burrito, which I normally don’t do. The shredded beef tasted good, but there were times when all I was eating was layers of folded, saucy, flour tortilla. I would never order this again. Since the reviews are good, I might come back and try something else. But, as for the chimichanga, it’s not good. A tortilla burrito just plain sucks.

Do not be confused — this is not Alberto’s — this is Alfredo’s — the better much fresher and less greasy big brother. Not to mention they are open until like 1am, they have vegetarian options like potato tacos and a california style veggie burrito(thats how i roll). Great friendly service and its usually pretty quick!

I’ve had my share of a super fries from Molca Salsa, Alberto’s, Rigo’s, Joto’s, Puta’s, etc. but this place tops all of them. As soon as I popped open my super fries I knew right away it was going to EPIC. Everything was cooked fresh and even their green salsa had texture to it and wasn’t watered down like most places. And the horchata was really good too and actually had flavor. Now if they can just demolish the three Alberto’s locations in the heights and replace with Alfredo’s that would be awesome.
