They are having a sidewalk sale this weekend and I scored a pair of beautiful handmade baby shoes for 12.00, 2 adorable handsewn dresses and 2 of their useful and cute diaper covers with ruffles. Everything was under 44.00! So happy! I have always gotten courteous and warm service from the family that runs this store. Maybe because I am nice too. You get what you give.

These are the best children’s shoes you can buy! Fashionable yet supportive & comfortable at the same time.

So, I put the kiddos down for a nap, told the folks I’d be back in a few and jumped in the car for a few minutes of Mommy sanity time. I rolled through downtown Covina, not really expecting much to be open on a lazy Sunday, when I spotted this adorable little children’s boutique. I parked my car and took a peek inside. Oh heavens! Little girl’s dresses, handmade… and beautiful shoes. seemingly made with my little girls in mind! I am one of «those» Moms who likes to dress the little ones alike… hey, they’re little girls… I will do it as long as I can! So I picked out this adorable little dress for the baby and asked the girl at the counter if they had it in a larger size for my 5 year old. She said they didn’t have them in the store, but can be special made. Are you serious? Get out! How much? $ 55 for that particular dress. I am a down to earth shopper, but I like to get nice dresses for the girls to wear on special occasions and for church. and usually I buy their dresses at Macy’s…where I spent $ 80 bucks or so a piece. I bought the dress for the baby, which was about thirty something… and I bought a little knit hat that was just made for her. The next weekend I dropped in with the girls and ordered the dress to be special made. When my 5 year old saw the shoes she almost died! Being the little fashionista that she is, she picked out leopard print and pink shoes. When she tried on the shoes she proclaimed that they were the most comfortable shoes she has ever had, and trust me, for a 5 year old she has seen more shoes than most! =) I was going to try to sneak back for the shoes at a later time so I could wrap them up for Christmas, but the girl would not part with her shoes… oh, and did I mention that you get to take home the shoes in an adorable hat box!!! Love it!
