7 Eleven

This place has some serious issues in dealing with it’s customers. I don’t care if there is a large school population with kids… don’t they usually buy tons of snacks and drinks? My girlfriend went into the 76 gas station east of this place wanting to use the restrooms. She is handicapped, with a cane and leg brace. The clerk at the 76 told her she could not use the ladies room, she had to use the one in the 7 – 11. Mind you, this gas station has a store front, propane cage and a BIG handicapped island in the front of the shop. My lady goes to the 7 – 11, a place where we get goodies and drinks. 2 male clerks told her she could not use the restrooms in there, that she could use the 76 bathrooms because it’s where the clerks go. 7 – 11’s are the same arcoss the board, it’s there for OUR convenience. Are there asshole customers? You bet, but there are also another side to that. Cashiers and clerks that like to be difficult because they get a lot of homeless, junkies, school kids… whatever. It’s no excuse to deny a handicap person use of your restroom. Thank goodness, the clerk from PICKWICK WINE & SPIRITS, came out of his store to help my girlfriend after he saw how upset she was. He stated to her he could not believe both places would deny her, and even worse making it seem like she had a chance at another place is a sick joke. This isn’t going to stand. My girlfriend and I are not setting foot at that 7 – 11 again.
