Well worth it! If you like history, old houses, or a chill way to spend part of the afternoon, this place is worth going to. You go and visit the house of Nathanael Greene, the guy who was basically George Washington’s right hand man in the Revolutionary War. The tour includes a video(that really needs an update, but is good enough if you’re patient), an enthusiastic tour guide who takes you around the house(which is beautiful in a simple kind of way), and the ability to wander around the grounds and visit the cemetery and watch the river go by. This is a small historic site with a limited budget, so there are some things I’d love to see improved, but it was a really interesting afternoon and Nathanael Greene is a fascinating guy. Go check it out! Hours were limited, so check them before you go. Tour was $ 5 when I visited. And it’s a little out of the way, but GPS is always your friend.
