I’ve been vacationing on Whidbey since I was an infant, and now that I’m a fully grown adult who escapes down here regularly, it’s neat to watch how the Island as a whole has grown. We come here almost every day to drink the Joe, have a snack and use the wifi to check in at home. Absolutely love this place. Coffee’s good and always a good mix of people in and out! Try the nibbles, delish!!!

So disappointed in Miriam’s. They just closed — giving people ONEDAY’s notice that they were going out of business, leaving people no way to redeem any outstanding gift cards. This stinks — now my Christmas gifts are useless — one month after I gave them. So much for standing by your many loyal customers… thumbs down!

This place is great! I wasn’t expecting much from the outside, but was pleasantly surprised by the classy, comfortable interior. The coffee is great, they have a good selection of pastries and excellent breakfast sandwiches. The free wi-fi is a huge bonus. I’m now back for my second visit of the day. Still very much excited about the non-stop 80’s music.

I came here nearly daily for two weeks while working as a soccer camp counselor on Whidbey Island, and I miss this place dearly! Delicious white mocha americanos, pastries, and overall such a cute little coffee shop. I have fond memories of escaping to here while my girls were at soccer practice or when I could squeeze in a little break from being around 20 middle school camp counselors that constantly needed my attention. I would go to there, bust out my laptop, and write short email updates to friends back home, or just sit reading the local paper while sipping on my coffee. If I’m ever in that area I will have to stop by for a return visit.

Fantastic setup of a little coffee shop in the small town of Coupeville WA. I was first introduced to Miriam’s Café from when I were a driver helper for the regular UPS delivery driver; John V. during the 2008 holiday season. Great customer service, warm atmosphere, friendly people. As for the coffee and other beverages they sell, reasonably priced and every drink made is made with quality ingredients and with plenty of attention to detail. A must for those passing through Coupeville in need of a quick pick-me-up.

i have to be honest: i miss the old miriam’s across the street that shared space with the video store. but onward and upward in good ol’ coupeville, i guess. i find miriam’s to be pretty hit or miss. sometimes the ladies behind the counter are sweet and make delicious coffee and sometimes you stumble on a coffee nazi that makes terrible, «hey there are grounds in my teeth» coffee. if i’m on the road in the afternoon and need a fix, miriam’s fits the bill but i’d no longer make a special trip. (FYI: free wifi!)
