Fuller’s Market & Lube Center

My mother took her Lexus in for an oil change. They manger noticed the check engine light was on. It was for a faulty Oxygen sensor my mother was planning to replace at the dealership. They manager said they would change it for $ 600. Against my wishes she told them go ahead. THEY NEVER TOOK CAR INTO ANY OF THE THREE BAYS! The took the car around to the side of the building to do the repair (where we couldn’t see work being done). Mom drives the car home, guess what light came on as she drove into garage? They basically cleared the code using a code reader and didn’t change the oxygen sensor! Which is illegal if I remember. Not sure the E.P.A. would endorse this practice. I took her car back and the manager dismissed me, saying something else caused the check engine light to go back on. They should stick to car washes. This happened several years ago. Don’t want anyone to get fired who weren’t there when this happended. The manager was young probably in mid to late 20s and a bit on the portly side.

I went to take my Car in for an oil change the other day and was very disappointed with the service. They overfilled my oil by twice the amount, causing a consistent oil stream to and from where ever I would drive. After three days my family and I were able to get my car back into fullers in countryside, where the manager tommy briscoe was very short with us and said that we should have «spotted the leak earlier.» We asked for the name and number of tommy briscoes boss and manager so that we may personally speak to him about our situation. The customer service we received at this fullers location was one of the worse we have experienced. He simply wanted us gone and would not reasonably answer any of our questions. We will not be going back to fullers for anything but a car wash. Very rude and not willing to listen to the customer who paid good money for a service.

Just stopped in for gas, but they seem to have a nice looking convenience store. Prices are the same as elsewhere, but cheaper if you get a car wash– which I think means getting the hand wash across the street. An added perk if you want special attention to the car and a gas discount. Nice that you can get some work done on the car there as well. One-​stop shop for basic car needs!

I had my oil changed at the aurora location and the Oil Filter FELL OFF. Thankfully Lord’s told me that the engine would need to be repaired and the owner at Fullers Walter Fuller refused to have a qualified person replace the engine. They have private Label Oil filters, We presented them with the Filter that Fell off and they fired the Mechanic… Now they expect me to trust them to replace an engine when they cannot even install an oil filter properly (ie use the correct size oil filter…) Stay away and I hope we succeed in getting their license suspended.

I had a great experience at Fuller’s today. I discovered a flat tire and managed to fill it enough to get it over to Fuller’s (after a recommendation from our neighbor). I met with Tommy who was friendly and professional. He knew that this was our primary vehicle and said that he would try to diagnose the problem quickly. Tommy called about a half hour later indicating that it was caused by a nail and that they had already patched the tire. The charge was reasonable and when I picked up the vehicle, I discovered that they washed the exterior and vacuumed the interior which was a very pleasant surprise. Great customer service. Thank you again Tommy!

I arrived hot, sweaty, and gross. The side of the building had a big sign that said «MARKET»…
there was no market here. I looked, I just needed some milk. The whole place is under construction. Big hassle.
I left with no milk. Don’t even get me started about the lube…

Quick update. The «free car wash» is now the «exterior only» wash across the street. The price of the oil change has been reduced accordingly, but if you’re expecting a full service, you’ll need to reach into your wallet when you get to the car wash.

I used to only go to the Fullers in Hinsdale, but this has been my number one spot since it has opened. I am in Romeoville but 10 min on the highway is totally worth the trip.
The oil changes are very reasonable, at 29.99 for the basic and that includes a free 4.95 exterior car wash. Of course there are many add ons which can up the price. The guys that work here are all nice and the waiting area is a part of the attached gas station. Not smelly at all!
Last time I came here I drove up with a horrible noise and they had it fixed with some sort new pump within a couple hours! Yesterday they reattached my license plate for me which was forcefully blown off in a drive through car wash. Most importantly my dad tells me that I can trust this place completely with my car, and that is really the most important thing.
