Wendy’s

I’m not a big fast food fan. I do take my kids for fast food more than I should at times. When I need something quick on the way to a soccer game or if we are heading out for an adult dinner, sometimes fast food fits the bill.
Generally, I do like Wendy’s. I’ve always thought their burgers were just a step above other fast food joints. I like to eat off the dollar menu – it’s cheap and usually tastes okay.
I’ve gone to this Wendy’s at least five times. EVERY single time something is wrong or bad. I usually will order the jr bacon cheeseburger with ketchup, onion and lettuce. Pretty easy. On at least three occasions, probably every time I’ve ordered it, they have screwed up and put on mustard or mayo which I don’t like.
The last time I went in and ate (usually i do drive thru). The lettuce on my burger was black and slimy. I took it off and didn’t eat it and when I was through, just took it up and let them know.
Today, I decided to stir things up a bit and get a tomato on my sandwich. It had a big bad spot, either a bug issue or it was rotten. I didn’t eat it but took it up and showed the manager. He didn’t say a thing. No apology, no nothing. I didn’t want anything free, just for him to say «gosh, i’m so sorry. That is unacceptable.»
Don’t go here. It’s disgusting. I’m not going back. I better remember to pack my lunch more often.

I love Wendy’s, and this is the only one is town, so were stuck with it.
The food is great. I love they’re fries, chicken nuggets, and chili. When summer time comes, their salads are really refreshing, and fresh. Their dollar menu shifts often, and sometimes don’t have items from it.
They somehow manage to mess up our order one way or another here. They always make up for it in some aspect, but I can’t stand going through the drive thru and then having to go back thru again.
The staff is polite but seem overwhelmed.
They were closed for a while because they had a fire… eeek!

I love me some Wendy’s! Especially after a late night concert. My wife and I went through the drive through to get some cheap grub this past Saturday and they didn’t have any grilled chicken read for a go-​wrap, which wasn’t that big of a deal, just an inconvenience. We pull up to the drive through window and she forgot one of our items. So we had to do a second transaction to purchase it.
All in all, it was kind of a headache to get all that we wanted, but its the only Wendy’s in town so I’d be lying if I said that I’ll never go back. I love them chicken nuggets.
