Papa Johns of Council Bluffs

The service is always pretty good here, but that isn’t their issue, the food is.
I’ve came to this Papa John’s a number of times, and not sure why I keep going back, but every time I get a pizza or anything really, its bad. The dough just doesn’t seem to be cooked all the way on the pizzas, the chicken tenders they once had were completely small and crap, among other things.
Their only saving grace is their Cinipie’s, which I tried for the first time this past weekend. It is one of the better cinnamon-​style desserts from a pizza place that I have tasted.
I won’t be coming back to this Papa John’s. If I do, it will only be for their Cinipie.

If I could give this papa johns 0 stars I would. The place is awful and dirty. I recently worked at this restaurant for a few weeks and never once even tried their pizza after what I saw. They have a mouse and bug problem. There are mouse droppings everywhere and the must live in the ceiling or something bc there were constantly mouse droppings on the make line itself. And bugs landing on all the food. I’m surprised that they have not yet been shut down for health code violations.
For as long as I can remember I have seen «now hiring» on their sign outside, and now I know why. They can’t keep people working there bc not only is the place filthy and crawling with rodents but they also only pay their delivery drivers 4 $ an hour. They told me I would make up the difference and make minimum wage in tips but that definitely didn’t happen. I frequently was spending my own gas money to take pizzas to a holes that would tip me like 50 cents if that. I lost money working for them and was very close to losing my apartment bc of it.
My suggestion is not to eat here, and do not work here. You’ll just end up spending money to deliver disgusting pizza.

Over the years I have spent seven years touring this country and ordered many a pizza. In all my time, I have never had such amazing customer service and care! Our order was confused and we weren’t told originally that we were outside their delivery area. When we called to check on the order, Brad Wise, the manager deeply apologized and sent a new order to our correct location on him. True customer service at it’s finest. My kids (age 3 and 5) were over the moon. The pizza was hot, and delicious.
