This Best Buy is okay. My most recent visit was this past weekend when I picked up an Blu-Ray that I ordered online. More times than not, when I need help in a department, there is no one to be found. I look and look and either the employees are standing around chatting or I simply can’t find anyone. The employees are generally pretty nice, more-so the cashiers. And if you are shopping for a computer, don’t come here. They try to up-sell you and recommend outrageous products for no reason; and some people actually fall for it. From a person who works in IT, this pisses me off. Overall, the only reason I ever come here is to pick up an order I placed online, and even that is rare.

This store was very organized, but very empty of customers. Employees were helpful and courteous. Have no complaints. Ordered my goods online and picked them up without issue. I’d go here again. Cheaper sales tax than Nebraska too.

Unlike my husband, I really never have a reason to come to Best Buy, prices are outrageous on most things and finding something can tend to become nightmarish. A couple times I’ve gone there on my own for Christmas/birthday presents and was deeply disappointed with the lack of guest service. People should be on the floor looking for customers to help, not standing around gossiping. You would think by placing a person right at the front they’d want to catch their«odd» customers and ask them if they need help finding something. Not the case. Sometimes I glance through the adds and find a good deal on a CD or Blu Ray, when I go there to get it, they’re out. This has happened three or four separate times throughout the years. My husband goes in quite a bit, buying miscellaneous parts and inexpensive Blu Rays. Sometimes he has reward points to spend and can usually find something decently priced. People working the cash registers are always friendly.

Seriously? They said that the bigger store in Omaha would carry the item we were looking for! What? Council Bluffs doesn’t deserve a «big» store. Come on Best Buy! The pathway to the check out is horribly small too. Other than that it’s a normal Best Buy. I just expected to not be told to drive to the BIG city of Omaha if I wanted something.
