Knickerbockers Deli

Great little deli. Nothing fancy, but really good grilled sandwiches with a pickle on the side. Service is always fast and pleasant. Also like that they have the «starving student» budget menu. Great idea!

Where’s the beef? Ordered the French dip, there was a tiny piece of burnt, dried chopped up beef on my ginormous piece of bread, it was horrible!!!

Excellent food, I haven’t had a bad thing yet on the menu. The staff is very pleasant, quick service, would highly recommend to anyone

Knickerbockers Deli in Cottonwood Heights does a great job. All their food is good, but my favorite is their Reuben. I’ve had a Rueben at about every place there is in the Salt Lake Valley, and theirs are fantastic. They grill the bread and cheese separately from the pastrami, then load it up with sauerkraut and dressing. The dressing is in between the pastrami so the bread doesn’t get soggy. It’s great as is, and absolutely AMAZING with extra pastrami. You won’t regret trying it.
Also, if they have their potato bacon soup on the day you go, get a bowl. It’s really yummy.

Cheap, fast, delicious. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and it’s all good. You really can’t go wrong here.

This is just a review on the breakfast as that is what my office orders often. The food is delish. I often get the breakfast sandwich and the egg is cooked perfectly, just a hint of soft yoke to make it perfect. Breakfast burrito’s and omelets are good too. Check them out.

Great sandwiches and salads. I also love that they have protein drinks available, though they are a little pricey. Best sausage breakfast burritos! The only food that I don’t love are the cookies, they’re small and flat, but everything else is awesome.

Such good sandwiches and salads! And very reasonably priced. They have a very large selection and also have outside seating with a pretty view. The below sandwich is ‘Under the Tuscan Sub’ which was their special on Monday. It came with a cookie and a pickle.

I had the godfatha, it is a big, delicious, sandwich. One of the best I’ve had. Its a hard place to find, located inside the business park. But, if you are successful enough to find it, you are in for a treat.

For my money, some of the best burgers in town. It’s the bread they use. Too many places skimp on the bread. The daily specials are amazing too. I check the Facebook page every Wednesday and get the special delivered. It’s become my only food tradition.

I’ve started working at a nearby company, so this place is a popular joint among my coworkers. For a deli, the menu selection is robust — soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, etc. The first time, I had a southwest salad. It was delicious. Then we had a pesto burger the second time… amazing. The guys cooking are extremely efficient, as they get their food to customers quite quickly considering its popularity.

For a soup and sandwich place, Knickerbockers Cottonwood Heights is great. They have a large selection of hot and cold sandwiches, green salads, and soup. My lunchtime go-​to is the turkey and avocado sandwich with a cup of soup. Every order comes with a slice of pickle and a cookie. If sandwiches aren’t your thing, ask about their daily specials — which range from a rice bowl to nachos. Everything is fresh and the majority of it is made in-​house.
I love that I can walk here from the office, which makes a great excuse to get outside. If you prefer to slave away, they’ll also deliver with a minimum $ 10 order.

I work in the area and walk here for lunch about once a week. Their sandwiches are always fresh and delicious. The club on a croissant is one of my go-​to sandwiches but I like the BLT too.
The soup is also really good. I have only tried the tomato basil and chicken curry soup but both were really flavorful. And they have a wonderful Chef salad. It is my favorite thing to order due to the fact that is has ALWAYS been made with really fresh veggies and toppings– you can tell it doesn’t just sit around.
The girl at the counter is always nice and smiling. And the rest of the staff seems to care about the quality of the food they put out.
It is kind of loud so I always get mine to go. And it is a little bit over-​priced compared to other sandwich places. But if you want a quality lunch then you are going to the right place.

Wow. This place was great! I just had the Godfatha Hot sandwich and it was amazing. The flavors just popped.

It was hard to find, and the food was only average. I felt like everything I tried was something whipped up in a hurry, and not well thought out.
