I saw Dr. David Nelson at the East Towne Clinic and have no complaints. I’ve gone there a few years and last year I saw a different optometrist that I didn’t care for (no longer with Eye Contact). I don’t have particularly complicated optical issues and consequently, minimal expectations of an annual optometry appointment. With that said, I am usually short on time, so appreciated the clinic’s prompt pace at which they got me through the exam process and out the door. Dr. Nelson was friendly, direct with his communication, and respectful of me as a patient. The doctor I saw last year seemed more interested in selling me expensive daily contact lenses than anything else which is always annoying when your medical provider has that car salesman-​vibe. Dr. Nelson was a welcome contrast in that he actually suggested a comparable lens that is lower in cost than the product I’d been using.

Dedicated to your eye health. Excellent doctors and care all around. I have normally seen Dr. Nelson but had the chance to see their newest addition, Dr. Radke. She is outstanding. Thorough, thoughtful, and very caring. Can’t recommend this group enough.

As a very proactive optometrist, you can immediately tell that Dr. Nelson is dedicated to making sure that your eyes are healthy and that you are given all the information that you need to make the appropriate decisions about your care.
It also helps that he’s a super-​friendly guy with a very easy going manner.
And don’t forget to take your fish oil and wear your sunglasses!

Been going to Dr David P Nelson for 6 years. Good natured staff is well informed and gives tons of info about the various parts of the exams, the billing process, and contact lens and glasses sales. You will leave your appointment knowledgeable about the health of your eyes and your eyesight.
