As a real estate buyer’s broker, Doug Hulbert has been my recommended heating and air conditioning contractor for all clients needing any of the services he can provide. This, because when I needed one of the two furnaces replaced at my own home about seven years ago, Doug and his knowledgeable crew did the job promptly, cleanly and professionally for precisely the amount originally quoted. Several weeks ago, our other furnace was dangerously spewing out Carbon Monoxide. Doug responded instantly, coming out to assess the job — then made a plan for the replacement. Then Doug decided he would handle the removal of the dinosaur furnace, himself, that very day so he could get us heat the following day — we were in the midst of a very cold period and Doug was sympathetic to that situation. Doug’s complete conscientiousness would not let Day 1 end without coming out again in the early evening to ensure that the one issue he was not sure could be overcome to enable the installation of a high-​efficiency furnace could be dealt with. It was deftly handled. Very early the next morning, Doug and his team (one of whom was the same installer who had worked on the last furnace installation — quite a tribute in and of itself of the kind of company Doug runs) delivered and placed into the furnace closet, the new 95% efficient furnace. Doug stayed on the job, himself, until the furnace and new thermostat was installed, and up and running. The price originally quoted was the price billed. Doug Hulbert is a consummate professional to whom I would recommend anyone needing the services of the best heating and cooling contractor in our area.

I had central A/​C installed for my condo by Doug Hulbert and his team. Doug showed me a couple of A/​C models to choose from and I chose a quieter compact model since the compressor sits on my small balcony, right next to my living room. It was the right decision as I can hardly hear it when the windows are closed. Doug told me beforehand that his experienced crew would do the installation and he would stop by to make sure everything was perfect. The crew was GREAT — very competent and nice guys! My heater went out on a Sunday night. I called for service on Monday morning and Doug came out the same day. He diagnosed the problem in a matter of seconds. and got the heater working. He told me that the fix was temporary and was ordering a part for my model of heater which would arrive the next day. When it arrived, he called me and we agreed on a time for him to install it. The installation took about five minutes. About three weeks have passed since then and I have not had any more problems with the heater. The price was less than I expected and dealing with Hulbert Heating and Air Conditioning was really easy.
