Okay, this is the deal about this place in a sort of summarized way: My boyfriend just got out from underneath this dive after having lived there for four months: The place was 40 years old(built in 1968), funky, ant problems, bathroom door that looked it had been kicked in a thousand times, a lot of structural inadequacies, but wait, it even gets worse… The landlady, who seemed okay at first turned out to be quite discriminatory and ended up violating some renters rights(she entered his apartment without notification or consent), and there was a very sharply defined demographic that resided there, so there was basically everyone except the following: * African Americans * Hispanics *Pregnant women *Children *Students *Disabled people And we also assumed there were also probably no gay people living there as well. Bottom line is that this place was NOT a proponent of fair and equal housing. Do yourself a favor, and don’t EVER rent a place here.
