The dog is the best! Was about to have a bad experience regarding a scope that was fine until they tried to bore sight it. Rather than get the scope fixed I decided to sell the rifle and the scope and one of the employees bought it, full freight, the same day. Mind you; it was priced to sell. They could’ve been anti-customer about the whole deal and it was heading that way, but CJ had a light come on at the last minute and figured a way to make us both happy. So I am local and I would use B2 again if I had a reason.

I have a couple bad comment on these guys. I first heard of B-2 was when I was visiting the new Sportsmans warehouse in rohnert park. I over heard two young men in B-2 shirts ask for a manager. A kind young man approached them and asked what he could do for them. They asked what a normal gun counter associate makes and he said he couldn’t disclose that because it’s a case by case hire. They then got very rude with him telling him his gun counter was awful and they had no selection on any firearms and that B-2 would run them out of business. The manager was very professional and stood there and let them disrespect him. It opened my eyes to this business and I decided to go over and take a look. Every staff member treated me like I didn’t know a single thing about firearms. Yet I’m a collector, a certified instructor, and a member of law enforcement. It was astonishing to see a local business treat a patron this way. So I will not be purchasing firearms from B-2 and I’ll make sure my friends and family don’t as well as we all spend big dollars on high guns. They dug their own grave and I’ll go back to Sportsmans warehouse now. They treated me fantastic and were so friendly. One star is entirely to much for this business.

I met the owner once, before he even had a store front. He is a really nice, intelligent guy. The now 3 times I have been in since, I have had negative experiences. The staff was rude and arrogant, belittling customers and acting pretentious and rude. This last experience was Unilocal worthy. With all of the gunshops and home ffls available, I chose to attempt to transfer my weapon at the local one to the buyer. With the negative reputation, I figured what is a simple transfer? I figured wrong. We walk in at 10am on the dot on Saturday. There was a «customer appreciation event» starting so there were some employees outside setting up some food and drinks. There were at least 4 – 5 employees inside behind the counters and no other customers on the floor. We were greeted by a young man asking how he can help today. I told him we would like to do a private party transfer, and he told me he was sorry but that they were having a customer appreciation event so they weren’t going to be doing transfers that day. I’m over it. Don’t you think you should appreciate your customers by HELPING them? What a concept. Just enough for me to permanently boycott this place. Don’t go here. Sportsmans Arms in Petaluma is smaller, but I can tell you that Gabriel cares about his customers and will take care of you.

Went into B2 and bought 2 guns: a Daniel Defense AR-15 and a Kimber 1911. The store had a decent selection of Kimbers, though the AR pickings were slim at the time. The staff were knowledgeable, but a bit gruff. They processed my paperwork efficiently until the printer had trouble, so it took longer than expected. The store is clean and well-organized, with a good selection, but prices are around $ 15 more expensive than a place like Dick’s for ammo. The guns run a good $ 100 more than competing stores. My experience with B2 was fine, but the price and unenthusiastic customer service means that this will not be my first choice for gun shopping in the future.

I’m a retired cop who has been going here for years. I’ve seen personnel come and go and I’ve seen WHY some reviewers have not liked«some» of the less than warm and fuzzy staff they have had down through the years. Right now some of the staff are quite young in appearance and have a way to go in terms of knowledge. .. but they are eager and they’re trying hard. They go out of their way to greet you the moment you enter and that’s always a positive sign. Personally, I usually ask for«Jack»(manager) because he is the«go to guy» there and we have developed a good relationship. He’s extremely friendly and helpful. He is doing a very good job in training the new younger staff. If you’ve had a less than stellar experience there in the past, I would recommend you give them another try now. They are hands down the best stocked gun shop in the area for sure.

Great store and awesome people that provide great customer service with no compromise. I recently had a problem with my gun and they told me to bring it and try to fix it. Great knowledge not just selling but about fire arms as well!!. Thanks B2 Jorge

Even though the store was very busy, all my many«newbe» questions were answered patiently. I wasn’t pressured into anything. I purchased a rifle from these guys knowing i was paying a little more than internet pricing but felt the customer service more than made up for it.

Went in there to get a quote on a shotgun which turned out to be a bit more pricey than another store. Asked if they would be willing to meet somewhere in the middle, and they guy flat out said to go by it from another store. More recently, I called to ask if they had a certain magazine in stock, to which they didn’t. That didn’t bother me one bit. What really grinded my gears was that when I asked if they could give me a price quote and possibly order me one, his response was to buy one online. Woulda though he wanted my money, but apparently not. The kicker to that conversation is that I asked for him to direct me to a worthy website for purchase, and he told me Amazon. News flash, Amazon is only permitted to sell firearm accessories like holsters, scopes, etc. Not actual firearm parts. What an idiot. I’ve tried to give these guys my business on more than one occasion, as I like to keep business local, but never ended up spending any money there. I always turn right around and walk out. Overall, it seems as though every time I walk into the store or call these guys up, I feel as though I am bothering them with my inquiry/business.

good store. pros are: nice selection of rifles and handguns. large selection of all sorts of accessories, cleaning supplies, safes. the staff are really nice and helpful. for instance: Jack(?) was answering a question for another customer and saw I was ready to check out and asked me if I was just waiting to purchase the item I had. I said I was, so he rang me up while still answering questions for the other customer which was really nice of him. I have not had an encounter with any of the staff who haven’t been nice, or helpful, even if they’re a little busy sometimes. the only cons I can think of are: 1) sometimes their shelf stock is empty on certain items, however, this is expected depending on when they get their shipments and what time of year it is/what is going on in the media, so I don’t consider it a deal breaker. 2) sometimes during the afternoon they have more customers than people to answer questions /cashier, which makes it hard to go in and get what you need during those times. I usually address this by coming back later when it’s not busy. again, not a deal breaker, but room for improvement. of the two, the 2nd one is the more inconvenient issue, and when /if this ever changes, I would definitely give 5 stars. B2 is one of two stores locally which I shop at for my own shop’s supplies and do recommend them with the caveat of being-ware of the afternoon busy time.

I went to three different gun stores today. The first was one on Mendocino ave, yes they were busy, but I was in there for a half hour and was never even acknowledged. Not a be right with you, nothing. For thirty minutes! I walked out, went down the street and they promptly greeted me, but had very little selection and the prices were super high! I took the short drive to Cotati and I’m glad I did. There were a bunch of people in the store and within a couple minutes an employee told me somebody would be with me shortly. And they were. I had questions about an ar-15 and a Springfield xd. He had all the answers, knew what he was talking about, and was a nice down to earth guy that didn’t blow any smoke. I believe his name was jack. He was awesome. Their prices were reasonable. Not super high. Right where they should be to keep the doors open. He told me everything I needed to know. You guys will have a customer for life right here. I’ll be in tomorrow to buy the Springfield and in a couple weeks to buy an ar. This is how a business should be run! I never felt judged or rushed or like there was any questions I couldn’t ask. Thanks again b2, I’ll see you tomorrow!

Good selection of firearms, but laughed when they only offered me $ 400 for my Kimber… Also funny it’s next door to a pot shop…

These guys are really great. My husband and I have been shopping at another gun store(I won’t mention the name but they are on Brush Creek Rd) for years and just got tired of the horrible service and attitude. I went here to check it out and the guys are great, so nice and very knowledgeable. This is my new gun store.

Biggest selection of firearms in sonoma county by far! That being said also the most expensive firearms dealer in Sonoma county by far! The staff here are great people with excellent knowledge of firearms.

I bought a Ruger MKIII Bull Barrel .22 pistol from them last year. Since it was going off California’s Nazi DOJ approved roster I was eager to buy it as there weren’t any around at the other shops. I SHOULD have waited. Upon reviewing the paperwork. I noticed an additional $ 25 storage fee tacked on in a sneaky fashion. I didn’t do the math but I should have. I just paid what they asked. I found the SAME pistol a few weeks later for $ 79 less at another store. The sales clerk was very unfriendly. Didn’t act like he wanted me to return. The gunsmith was berating another customer for some reason from the back. So. When I returned after my 10 days to pick up my new pistol everything went smoothly. The same clerk helped me out and didn’t seem to remember me at all and was not interested in interacting. He also commented to his coworker that the customer who came in right before me was a dumbass! There are better gun stores around. Check out my other reviews to find out which.

I’ve now purchased 2 firearms from B2 a 38 and a AR-15. I’m completely happy with the service I received, no one treated me like I was inferior or like I didn’t know what I was talking about. When I read through the other reviews it was a little disappointing to see some of the comments left. As I was standing there looking at a Sig the other day a man walked in with 2 felonies he knew when he walked in he couldn’t buy a fire arm yet he berated the guy behind the counter(really) for not selling him a fire arm. Another guy(joewannabestud) thought he knew everything about a specific riffle yet the more he talked he proved the less he knew. What I’m saying is educate yourself just a little before you buy a firearm. This is a store not a class room!

Been here a couple times and the staff is very Knowledgeable and are straight shooters. I came in without a secondary proof of residency, I had money laid out on the table and refused to take my money because they didn’t want to waste my time and theirs. Buying my 9 mm Sig Sauer was a breeze and would definitely buy from here again once I had all the proper documents. They have a large selection of Handguns from Ruger, Kimber, HK, Beretta, and Glocks, and also have a special section for CCP holders and Law enforcement. And the Sig Sauer I got was a great price. Brand new off the Market and got it for $ 640.00 out the door. Just dont be an idiot and come prepared and itll be a breeze to buy from these guys.

Very disappointing to read all of these bad reviews about B-2. I have been shopping at B-2 for 5 years now. Purchased my first gun from them. And over the years have spent THOUSANDS. They kindly greet me & my husband by name. The staff is knowledgeable and are always willing to help my husband and I out. They will order online what ever I want, as long as it’s available. I also believe they have the largest selection of firearms in the county. Yes, they’re a little expensive. But employees are expensive to have and I’m sure the rent on their location is through the roof. I understand they have to make ends meet.
