I did a LOT of research before I booked my wedding hair and makeup and found Shauna and Katie’s prices to be extremely reasonable for LA, especially considering all the services they provide — airbrush, eyelashes, on-​site hair and makeup team — and the quality of service. They did an excellent job with all hair and makeup for my wedding to make the women look beautiful and are such friendly, sweet girls to have around on your wedding day!

Christie and Katie did hair and makeup for my wedding and were fabulous! Great and friendly attitudes and made us feel comfy while getting us glammed up. Highly recommend these ladies!

The Girls helped make my wedding day peaceful and beautiful. The came to our hotel prompt and ready to go. They did all my 5 brides maids and two mothers and me, the bride in time and we were all beautiful! They did everyone’s hair and makeup they gave me advice for the day before so I could be my best for the day of. (New Years day) which is a tricky day to look fresh and beautiful. I still stayed up well past midnight and I still looked stunning! I cannot wait for my pictures to come out! THANK YOU GIRLS ! YOU WERE THE BEST!

I got my hair and makeup done by these ladies and they did an excellent job! It was everything the bride wanted and we all looked stunning.

What a stunning job they did on the whole wedding party, but how glamorous and beautiful they made the mothers was amazing. The makeup was done professionally by Shauna, who is a graduate from Cinema Makeup Academy. She did not just glob our makeup on or put too much shadow on, it was done perfectly to pick up our strong points. I chose the airbrushing, and was amazed how natural it looked and how light it felt. Everyone’s pictures turned out beautifully.
Katie did my hair. Though she kept it similar to the wedding party, she is so good she made distinct differences that set it apart. She was patient with me as we worked out the different styles and when I wanted subtle changes, she took the time to make it perfect.
And I loved their trial run. We worked all the kinks out on everyone way before the wedding.
They are reliable, always returning calls right away, patient with nervous brides and mothers, take their time with each person, and always punctual.

UPDATE!
Without even looking elsewhere, I hired TheGirls for my engagement photos, bridal shower, and wedding. And once again, they far exceeded my expectations! I looked absolutely flawless!!! For my wedding, they did all six of my bridesmaids, both mother of the brides, and I even convinced five other girls who weren’t in the wedding to get theirs done too. Everybody loved how they looked!
My wedding day was pretty windy, but our hair stayed fabulous until we took the bobby pins out that night! I went to bed without washing my face (there’s no time for that… if you know what I mean…) and I swear I still looked fresh and flawless the next morning. I went to brunch with the same makeup still on!
Leading up to the wedding, with the trial and scheduling, I felt completely at ease with them. They were professional, friendly, and they know their stuff.

These girls are amazing! I have never felt more beautiful! These girls make me beautiful every time I see them! I would never go anywhere else :)

The Girls and especially Katie were a joy to work with. They did hair and makeup for my daughter the bride, 3 bridesmaids and me, mother of bride. All done on site on time, reasonably priced and everyone looked radiant and beautiful. Katie executed the hair and makeup look that my daughter requested flawlessly. Most of all it was fun and a great bonding experience for the bridal party just a few hours before the wedding. Best investment I could have made!

I really can’t say enough good things about Katie and Shauna, and everything they did for my wedding (and my engagement photos). Communication with the girls was so easy and they were very responsive and informative about the whole process. The girls travelled to the hotel we stayed at in Anaheim and did hair and make-​up for my mom, 4 bridesmaids, and myself. They were so organized and had us all beautiful with flawless hair and makeup in just a few hours. These ladies are also the sweetest, and having them there with us as we were getting ready felt like we had two more bridesmaids in the group! Katie is phenomenal! I had never been airbrushed before and she did an absolutely flawless job. Loved loved the results. She has also colored my hair and I’ve never been happier with it. Thank you sooo much, Katie!!!

Very disappointed in their services, I had my hair and make up done a few weeks ago. After my makeup was done with in a few minutes it started to run, I had dark circles under my eyes from the makeup. None of the blemishes that airbrush covers were covered. The make up girl retouched it and it smeared again. As i was driving to the venue I called the make up artist and asked what can I do she said to redo it with my own make up. By the time I got to there my hair was flat and make up was a mess. Mascara was applied to my eyelash extension causing them to clump and smeared even more. I have had my make upndone before and never ever encountered any problem. I contacted the owner and told her how dissatisfied I was nothing was done. I paid over $ 120.00 for something I had to redo on my own. If I could give them –5 stars I would. HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE PRODUCT, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Katie is AMAZING. She has done my make-​up a few times and I have been blown away with how talented she is. Very professional from start to finish. I would highly recomend The Girls for your Wedding or any event for that matter.

I can’t speak highly enough about The Girls. I worked with Amber and Brittanee and they were GREAT.
They were so easy to work with, they kept open communication throughout my wedding process, they were affordable, and most of all, they made my bridesmaids, my mother, and myself absolutely beautiful. I kept staring at my ladies the whole morning and couldn’t stop telling them how gorgeous they all looked!

As a «professional bridesmaid» I know a few things about professional wedding hair and make up teams. Shauna, Katie and Karisa have been hands down my favorite team to work with. I have had the pleasure of getting dolled up by this team twice and neither time did they disappoint. As married women and moms they know what it takes to make a woman feel beautiful on their wedding day and they make sure the entire TEAM BRIDE (& MOG) feels included and beautiful as well. They were sociable, complimenting and just plain down to earth. I received airbrush both times from The Girls and it lasted all night long! More importantly, my hair does not stay curled, and both times they worked their magic to make sure my hair stayed without the intense hairspray feel that takes forever to brush out the next day. They really listen to what I like and run with it. Best of all, they clearly like each other! They work really well together and bounce off each other for ideas and input. I used The Girls for my hair and makeup for my engagement pictures and also for my wedding day. The girls did an absolutely amazing job. They did everything I asked which was great, especially for a bride. My make up was done by Shauna, I asked for a natural look and she provided it. She did airbrush makeup, which I totally recommend. She made sure that I liked my makeup before she left, and waited until right before I walked down the aisle. My hair was done by Katie, all I did was show her a photo on my wedding day and she duplicated it perfectly. I absolutely loved my hair, she also waited until I walked down the aisle. Since it rained on my wedding day she even touched my hair up right before my grand entrance. These girls work hard and have a true passion for what they do. I would completely recommend them, they are really calming on your wedding day too.

I had Katie from the girls beauty shop do my hair and makeup twice for some family photos and, as always, I was amazed! The airbrush felt so natural and stayed on well throughout the day. She did an amazing curl on my hair with just a round brush and blow dryer! I was (literally) blown away. I will never use anyone but the girls beauty shop for an any event/​photos. I can always count on a great look for a reasonable price. Katie also now is my hair stylist and has mastered my cut and highlights wonderfully. Try them out! You won’t be disappointed!

Getting ready can be super tedious and stressful if you have a lot going on! The girls do an amazing job at providing s fabulous convenient and stress free service! Both Katie and Shanna are bubbly and beautiful women that just love what they do and it shows! I have had my make up done by them several times and each time I’m blown away by the professional quality look they create! They make me feel comfortable and beautiful all at the same time. They are great ladies with a great business!

Shauna from TheGirls made me look absolutely stunning for my wedding day and I cannot thank her enough.
