I have been coming to Temptation Salon for over 10 years and I will never go anywhere else! If you’re looking for QUALITY, service and the most up to date styles, this is your place! The owner encourages all employees to maintain up to date and take annual Beauty convention shows TWICE a year to keep up with today’s styles and new equipment to get the looks that are «in»!!! In 10 years I have yet to be disappointed! I recommend temptation anyone looking for top notch stylists, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!

Temptations salon is the best salon I have ever been to. The environment is clean and welcoming. The girl who does my hair is named Emily and every time I go to her, I leave looking amazing. Emily is the sweetest person I have ever met, I love talking to her and she’s very talented. I get my hair highlighted each time I go, and the highlights look perfect/​natural and my hair has never been damaged from it. Because of the Aveda products, my hair stays healthy. Every time I go there I find myself buying a new product cause I just can’t get enough! My hair would be a frizzy mess without them. Since I’ve been going to Emily, I get non stop compliments on my hair!

As a cosmetologist I obviously can’t do my own hair so I bit the bullet and walked right into temptations salon instead of the supply store next door (about to do my hair myself) and was welcomed by two super sweet ladies! Michelle and Emily. Emily took me right back and we did a quick consultation. She knew exactly what to do without damaging my hair and I made an appointment for the next day. She took her time and got it perfect! I have never been so in love with my own hair and will never trust anyone else to do my hair other than Emily. Oh and she’s super sweet and such a great person that is so easy to talk to!

How is this for dedication… Michelle has been cutting my hair since 1987? I wouldn’t trust anyone else and all the ladies at Temptations do a phenomenal job!
Way back when, my hair was a natural dark auburn and all the ladies at Temptations had this «BIG» rock-​n-​roll hair. It must have been an 80’s and 90’s thing. Michelle and team no longer have rock-​n-​roll hair but are doing great work… even though I have gone from a dark Auburn to something called a «Grey (2) Hair Wonder»!
I recommend Temptations to all my friends, it a fun place to get your hair cut and you will laugh the whole time! Ask for Michelle, she will take care of you BIG!!!

Many years ago, I went to Temptations Salon to have a trial run of my wedding hairstyle. I told the lady I wanted my hair half up with curls. She would not let me see my hair until she had completely finished. When she spun me around to see my hair in the mirror, I was horrified to see myself with a straight as a board mullet style! What? The ladies who worked in the salon cheered and told me how amazing it looked. I was in shock. When I told her I reminded her that I wanted curls, she dismissed me and said it looked great. She pressured me to book a time to get my hair done for the wedding. I tried to avoid it, but then we settled on a date and time. I knew I would cancel later as she bullied me into booking. When I checked out, she charged me $ 75 for this horrendous hair! Still in shock, I handed her my credit card. As I walked out of the salon and saw my reflection in the window, tears started streaming down my face. I got into my car, called my fiancé, now husband, and told him how bad it looked. He talked me into coming by his office assuring me that it could not be that bad. When I got to the office, people were shocked. His secretary said I looked like someone from Star Trek. By this time, I was laughing because I looked so ridiculous. Others agreed that the way she pulled my sides back and poofed my hair up so high, I looked like I had a mullet.
When I called to cancel my appointment & mustered up more courage to tell her I hated my hair, the lady who did my hair at the salon hung up on me! I was not even rude or angry on the phone. After that, I called my credit card company to try and fight the charge, but they said I couldn’t because I had signed agreeing to pay for my hideous hair.
I wish I knew the name of this wicked woman who took such advantage of me, a young, naïve bride to be. Who hangs up on someone? This was years ago, but I still remember it like it was yesterday. I wish Unilocal was around in 2003.

Horrible experience — I would not recommend this salon AT ALL! Maybe other colorists are better, but I had Sharon. I wanted to go to an Aveda salon for color as they usually have well trained colorists — I guess that was a really bad assumption on my part. But when I went in for my root touch up, I came out with a significantly different color on my roots. I thought I would give her another try to let her fix the color problem. After going back in, it was better — but still my hair did not match. When I asked to come back a third time to try and get it fixed — they couldn’t find another time to get me in for another week and didn’t seem very interested in trying to resolve the issue. Seriously?!? Take ownership and fix your mistakes. Overall — I found their handling of the situation unprofessional and my main takeaway was the colorist was very inexperienced.

Great Aveeda salon tucked away in the back of a section of stores on 17^th Street, across the street from America’s Yogurt. I highly recommend Julie Colella, a master colorist. Prices are very affordable and the staff is very friendly. My husband often calls a day or two in advance and can easily get an appointment for a cut. We have been clients for over two years.
