For a school café this place rocks! Everything is prepared fresh daily by the culinary students. Get prices too. Try the breakfast burrito for $ 3.75 in the morning and then get the budget burger deal for $ 4.25 for lunch. Check out their freshly made desserts too.

I haven’t eaten here in a while and now I remember why. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and added bacon for $ 0.50 extra which came to $ 4.25. I asked if I can have Bbq sauce for it… another $ 0.35. She hands me the Bbq sauce… it’s a small little package, same size as the Bbq sauce you get at Mc Donald’s except they give it to you there for free. They wont even give me 2 packets which is still not worth the $ 0.35 i paid for one. I’m pissed off enough about being ripped off for this tiny packet of Bbq sauce but then I got my sandwich. It’s small, has about half a slice of bacon on it, and is DRY. Not even mayo. The chicken is seasoned but is the most bland seasoned chicken I’ve ever had. There is only one piece of lettuce on it and it’s wilted. This is the last straw… never again will I eat here. Such a rip off.

Very loud inside! The plus side is that there is 2 microwaves. Tables are pretty dirty and the lines are pretty long. Food takes a while to come out but they have a phở station so that’s a plus! They are very CHEAP with utensils… you have to pay 50 cents for a cup and 25 cents for a fork. AREYOUKIDDINGME?

It’s pretty much what you think it is, cafeteria food that’s a little above par. I like their chicken club because the meat is actually meat and it was moist… got their charbroiled chicken quesadilla… not a fan. The chicken was weird and the sour cream and salsa was grilled inside of the quesadilla… never again! Seasoned fries. or curly fries… are good, but be careful with seasoned or regular, they might be a little room temperature of the café isn’t crowded. Burgers are good too, the only thing I’ve gotten twice was the turkey sandwich, maybe I just like thugs simple, but it’s really good, on toasted wheat, please! Crowded or not, food always takes longer than you’d like… especially if you’re on a time crunch in between breaks.

I’m surprised that no one has reviewed this place yet but hooray for me – another blue ribbon for being the first to review. I was on the fence about the rating to give this; I was debating between a 3 or 4 stars, but like in elementary, I was taught to round up for a 3.5 so I decided to be generous. First off, there’s always a flood of students in their which provides for ample opportunities to check out the beautiful people on campus. I recently heard that OCC was voted the 2nd most attractive college in the united states by playboy and I can sometimes see why. Hmm, I was supposed to review something; oh yes, the café. How good can cafeteria food really be? If you’ve been to elementary and middle schools like I have, images of plastic tray lunches, an apple, chicken nuggets, and plastic sporks are conjured up in your head whenever anyone mentions the word cafeteria. Here is a step up from that. There’s actually quite an array to choose from, from salad, to burgers, to quesadillas and more. It might be hard to pick at first since there are so many options but I settled for chicken strips. Don’t expect the food quality to be that of a restaurant, but its a good place to eat if you’re coming from high school and are used to eating the same burritos and PB&J sandwiches day in and day out. The variety is a quite diverse and to someone who’s stuck on campus all day, its a convenient place to kick it with your friends and check out the prospects. 3 for the food, 4 for the décor, and 5 for the people… averages about 4. :)
