Visited the store before Christmas in search of 2 rugs for my new home. I located 3 rugs I was interested in and asked if they had the merchandise in stock and what the pricing on it was. The lady at the desk took down my info and said she would get back to me. Fast forward 1 week and no update from the store. I called the store inquiring about the merchandise. The guy on the phone took down my info again and said the lady would call me. Well, several weeks later, no calls, no email. Very poor follow-up and service. Will not be going back.

We found the staff very helpful and willing to flip through a few piles of carpets for us. We were looking for a small carpet, and when we found one we thought would work, Vanette sold it to us(by taking a copy of our credit card and license) without actually running the card. When we found that it didn’t work out, we returned it and she shredded the copy. I know this is no different from buying/returning it, but it felt more trusting – almost neighborly. In the end we didn’t purchase here, but I liked the vibe.

i read the negative reviews on this place. You have to know what you want when you walk in. they are expensive but i got top flight carpets and rugs from them. some of the more informed staff has left, sadly.. really all depends on what you are looking for. silk & wool blends, anything exotic or upper tier is what you will find here.

It’s kind of cool to go here. You will get lots of great ideas but not much help. Almost everything is on back order and the prices are sky high. After walking around the place and getting major sticker shock you just kind of shrug and decide to be clever rather than spend 5K on a rug at an «Outlet» speaking of the whole outlet thing… Isn’t stark super high end so whats the point of the black Friday outlet gimmicky B.S. If I were poshy enough to spend the money here I would just go shop at the pacific design center on the west side of Melrose. Just saying…

Good selection of upscale rugs but ridiculous prices and poor service. I went in looking for a 9×13 area rug and was appalled that practically every rug was priced $ 8,000 –9,000(and that was the discounted price too!) I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Incredible selection of rugs here, but the discount could be cheaper. An 8×10 rug runs about 4k+, depending on material and weaving, of course. For that price, I’d drop trou and roll around in it. Wait, what? It’s much better to see what they have in stock online and checking it out in person… otherwise it’s simply overwhelming. This business mainly caters to designers so you’re left to your own device(that is, no sales pressure).
