I ordered soup online and it said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Got there a couple minutes early and it wasn’t ready and they said they were heating it up. They were heating it up in the microwave. It wasn’t ready when it should of been so I had to wait even longer. It was so hot when I opened my soup it spilled out and burned my hand.

Went to this location because it’s right next to work so it’s very convenient. While the sandwich I ordered, ham and cheddar, Was very tasty, on my third bite I found a black human hair in my sandwich. Needles to say this totally grossed me out so I couldn’t eat it anymore. The sandwiches are quite costly so I felt I have wasted my lunch money. I definitely won’t be back. Their hygiene standards are obviously poor. When you are preparing food for the public you are taking on quite a big responsibility. This place doesn’t seem to take that seriously.

Went for a breakfast sandwich and coffee the other day. The cashier was very friendly and nice. Order a egg and sausage sandwich and a coffee. A little pricey for my taste. Coffee was decent but the horror started with my first bite of the sandwich. All I could taste was grease! The egg and sausage had no flavor. How could it when it was pretty much drenched in grease. It almost seemed like they put the sandwich together and deep fried it. Totally nasty!!! Will never order a breakfast sandwich again!!! Coffee, maybe.

I like the food here. It’s not too far from work so it’s a good choice on days when the weather is bad. Unless I order ahead of time, I’ll end up getting stuck in a line of people who don’t know how to order. This happens every single time I’m there. People cut the line, you have people who already ordered standing around so you’re always asking if they already ordered(and hinting to move away from the register). My patience is always tried when I am here. The food is good. I like that they advertise their soups ahead of time so you can see what they will have. Prices are expensive for what you get, but only slightly more expensive than what you’d pay elsewhere.

This place is terrible and deserves to go under. I have had all the issues named here at Unilocal and then some… and am currently on a streak on 7 of my last 10 orders being screwed up. Burnt bakery items, missing items, running out of stock, missing or not near enough items on sandwiches, consistently forgetting bread and spoons with soup orders… you name it. I also once saw them LITERALLY watering down the soup by pouring a bucket of water into the service bowl out front, I joke you not. All that and you are dropping almost $ 10 on a sandwich or $ 5 on a friggin’ cookie. No thanks. I have sent complaints and corporate has been kind enough to once comp an order, and a couple times give me a free cookie for my time, so that is something. However for over a year despite dozens of complaints it has never gotten any better. Worst business lunch spot I have ever been to. PS typing this while eating my «Rebecca» that had no cole salw on it… I opened my Thai Curry Soup and it was ice cold. Unbelievable

I like Specialty’s overall but this particular location is subpar. See picture of my burnt chocolate cream cheese croissant. How can they let product like that get served? It was crunchy!

This place is really close to the office and the sandwiches are pretty tasty. While the staff is friendly, the service is really slow. Today it took 27 minutes, 58 seconds from the time I ordered to the time my food came up(they print the time on their receipts). Completely unacceptable for a quick-serve place that caters to people on their lunch break.

This location can only manage to get an online order correct 1 out of 5 times! I placed the order online for a Veggie Pesto sandwich. When I rushed back to work to eat before a meeting what did I find?! A sandwich with pesto, 3 cucumbers, 1 pepperoncini & one leaf on it. This is beyond ridiculous. What happened to order accuracy? Not to mention an outrageous price $ 8+ for basically a piece of bread.

Ahhh, Specialty’s. Where the specialty is making you wait for 20 minutes only to have them make your sandwich all wrong. This location is terrible!

Atmosphere, staff and wait time were great. Ordered a hot roast beef sandwich which arrived warm and took longer than my colleagues lunches, even though they ordered after me. The sandwich did taste good despite being warm. Would definitely come again to try other options.

Good stuff really. It was my first time going there and not the last time. I am restrict meat diet so I can’t speak on their meat but their 4 cheese sandwich was pretty and their tuscan soup was simply awesome. Price was good too so was the service\people that worked there.

This location has a very grand and new ambiance with super high ceilings. There is convenient 20 min parking right outside the restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The Cobb salad is very fresh. Comes with lots of tender chicken, egg, carrots, baby tomatoes, and mushroom. Lots of fresh ingredient. The smoked ham sandwich comes with a very soft fresh poopy seed bread. It comes with lettuce that made the sandwich taste very fresh. The hazelnut iced coffee had a nice strong hazelnut and coffee flavor. The restaurant serves Peets coffee. My favorite pastry here is the fruit croissants. Any flavor. The crust is flaky and the cream is so delicious. Not too sweet but just sweet enough. Happy Specialtying!

Pretty convenient place for a quick bite. Everything is automated, even if you order in-house. I ordered ahead, then a short walk later, food was on a shelf, ready to go. Getting lunch could not be any easier. Wait, they deliver, so yeah, it gets a little easier. The Interior is spacious, with big windows and lots of light. If you choose to eat in, it looks relaxing. Service is also friendly, if you have to interact with anyone. Otherwise, you can avoid human contact and still take care of everything yourself. I was in the mood for a BLT, and this place hit the spot. Hard to be disappointed when you order your sandwich exactly as you like it, with lots of options. The add-ons can get pricey though. Customized with goat cheese and avocado, deleted the pickle and vinaigrette, cuz what’s that doing on a BLT? And those cookies. They’re huge, like a cookie and a brownie. Got. It. On. They’ll kill you, but it’s worth it.

This location seems like it’s not up to par as their other locations. The past few times I’ve gone there, it was just not that great. I always order their Cobb salad and was disappointed in their lack of ingredients. It was full of lettuce and lacking everything else, including their focaccia. If this location continues to lack in quality, this place won’t last much longer.

Real pretty location with lots of big windows for lots of natural light. Food is your typical sandwiches, soups & salads with many yummy pastries. Nothing special but just fine. They need to empty their garbages better as they seem to be always full. I do appreciate that they recycle. And they have free wifi & Peets coffee.

Long overdue but finally made it to Specialty’s Café for lunch. I’ve heard really good things from friends, so that is what I was expecting. This space is great. Huge seating area with high ceilings, they also have a giant patio outside. Peets Coffee is also conveniently set up in the front space. You have your option of ordering at the ipad stations or upfront with an actual person. Since I had some questions I opted for the human line. I was hoping to be able to do ½ sandwich and salad as most other chains like this offer, but I was informed they do not. I selected the Turkey, Apple, Brie & Bacon sandwich. It was delivered quickly but was much smaller than I was expecting after paying $ 9+ for it. They had also slopped mayo all over the top of the bread(nitpicky I know, but it’s a pet peeve) The positive: the bacon was extremely crispy as I like it. The apples were mushy and would not stay in the sandwich.(I was expecting raw slices). The arugula was skimpy and had some brown pieces on it. For a price point such as this, I expected better quality ingredients and flavors. Overall I think the place was okay, I just might have ordered the wrong thing on an off day? I will give it a second shot.

I was excited about the selection(good menu offering both bfast and lunch selections). I tried the quiche(tasty, but a bit salty – too much cheese, not enough egg). My husband tried the sausage breakfast sandwich. Surprisingly(not a big breakfast sausage fan), it was good. Priced at $ 4.99, it’s a double-sausage patty on a thin ciabatta(view the pic). Server/employee tip – buy the day old baked goods for ½ off and freeze. The chocolate chip(packed with chocolate chunks – milk and semi sweet) and peanut butter cookies were good. Also checked out the brownies(one had a peanut butter center surprise) – YUM! The size of the business is very deceiving from the outside(very large w/more than ample seating – inside and out). 3 stars because after 4+ months, still doesn’t seem like they’ve got«the system» down. They open at 6:30AM, yet at 8:00AM they were still setting up. Worth a go… check it out.

There is a new business… up in my business(area). I do like options, and options is their Specialty. From breakfast buns to BLTs, from salads to sandwich trays, sweets to snicker doodles. They have options. A little confusing on the ordering process, since you can order at the counter or an iPad if you don’t feel like talking to anyone. Don’t make my mistake and go the coffee counter first, they will send you over to the iPad to place an order… apparently they don’t feel like talking either. All in all a good feel to the place. I’ll be stopping over for lunch.
