I am not a fan of chocolates, but when I have a rare craving of chocolates, See’s is my top choice. Dark Chocolate Covered Cherry is the best chocolate covered cheery I have ever had. Very juicy inside, which is extremely difficult to achieve. California Crunch is also one of my favorites. Not overly sweet, perfect blend of toffee, nuts and white chocolate. Their lollipops are also amazing, I love the chocolate flavored pops. I always have a box of little pops on my desk somewhere. Costco sells a 2-pound voucher for $ 25.99, strong recommended.

Ever since I was a little kid, See’s Candies was the benchmark which all other chocolates were measured against. I’ve been to Pierre Marcolini, eaten Cluizel, but See’s is a very special place that can hold it’s own against any other chocolate. First off, they give you a piece of chocolate before conducting any business. That’s some pretty good service… My wife converted me a long time ago to becoming a California Brittle fan(btw, did you know that there is a dark chocolate version of it?). Actually, everything is pretty good, even those with the nasty marzipan-ish fillings. Getting a box of assorted chocolates from See’s is a great gift. The Costco See’s GCs are cheeeap! Did you know that See’s Candies is predominately in the west coast. New York doesn’t even have one, WTH?

I’ve been a grouchy son of a b*tch and the wife brought home an assorted bag of anti-b*tch pills otherwise known as See’s chocolate. I’m not a chocoholic like she is but I like chocolate, just haven’t started the chocoholic program yet. Overall there were some tasty little morsels in the bag she brought home. I love Ghiradelli’s but See’s is the next best thing and no one better even mention Rocky Mountain chocolate more like Rocky Mountain Oysters. The chocolate is always creamy and not overly sweet like some are. I’m a big fan and I’m not so damn crabby anymore. Thank you See’s.
