Had my bridal shower here last week and everything went off without a hitch. They called me in advance to confirm my food selections. We got there thirty minutes before to set up. They were really accommodating. Everyone was impressed by the place and how nice the owner was. If I could have another bridal shower I would just cause I love this place so much!

This place is awful. I found it while waiting for my car to be washed and it was empty. I thought it was a trendy little place on the inside but there is nothing special about the food or tea. It was hot so I asked if they had iced tea and she said she could make it. She handed me a cup with the tea bag submerged with water and some ice. I took a sip and got a mouthful if the tea bag substance. I said I’m sorry I don’t like this can I try the strawberry lemonade? They said sure however that was even worse. It tasted like tart water. After that I left and threw it away. When I got home I went to try the cookies I bought and they completely fell apart. Evrytime I went to grab a piece it would break into smaller pieces. It was also an oatmeal cookie and there was nothing oatmeal about it.

This place is adorable for a tea party for an event, or just to go meet a friend. Wasn’t in love with the food, but the atmosphere was super cute and the tea was really tasty. They had fun hats that you could wear for the experience and the décor everywhere was adorbs as well.

Just had a baby shower there for a dear friend and Bridget was reallllllly patient and great. I had no clue how to chose the packages and menu and she went through each item with me and never rushed me through my indecision. Then during the day of, everything was set up so well and she kept all the tea filled with hot water. Food came promptly, extras were packed, we hung out quite a while after the event ended and she didn’t rush us out. Everything was so simple and easy. Everyone loved the place and the food(my faves were the strawberry lemonade, cherry rose green tea, stuffed mushrooms, ribboned zucchini, eggplant sandwich and egg salad sandwich, lemon bar and peanut butter dessert)!! And most of us ain’t even vegan! Plan your next event there, it’s just great!

Ehhh. Came for a treat while I was waiting for my car wash to finish at ed’s across the street(there aren’t many options in this industrial area) I was craving something chocolatey and the worker was nice enough to suggest the brookie —brookie: part cookie part brownie, it was too dry and crumbly… It was definitely missing something The bakery can also be used as an event space for bridal showers etc!

This was the PERFECT venue to host my Bridal Shower! I absolutely loved it and so did all of my guests!!! Such a cute space — already nicely decorated, so you don’t have to add much in terms of décor(huge bonus). They’re closed to the public on Sundays, but since my shower was on held a Sunday, we had the whole place to ourselves, which was really nice! I met with Bridget(the owner) for a tasting a few weeks before and she was so sweet and accommodating! Unfortunately, she could not be there for my Bridal Shower, so she left it up to Donna to make sure everything went smoothly, which it did! They were both fabulous, easy to work with, and so helpful. Also, everything is dairy– and gluten-free, but the bread that they use for their sandwiches is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I highly recommend this place to host your next event! Thank you Royal Tea & Treatery for making my Bridal Shower a huge success!

Enjoyed the cute décor but left here feeling hungry and like we overpaid for what we got. My friends and I(8 people total) came in one Sunday when there was a party going on in the interior of the tea room. One of my friends had called earlier about reserving a table for us and they told her that we had to leave by 1 pm because a big party would be starting, but I feel that we were misled because there was already a party going on when we were there. In hindsight, we should have come on a day when there wasn’t a party going on, because the servers seemed distracted and kept forgetting to get us things we were asking for. We asked the sever(who I believe was also the owner) how she suggested that we order for our group and she said that for 8 people we should order 4 of The Sirens(at $ 24 each). Each order came with one type of tea of our choosing. The teas were all great and I’m sure anyone that we ordered would have been fine. The biggest disappointment was the food. We only received 2 tiered food stands that had two small rectangles of each type of sandwich(8 mini rectangles total), two mini cupcakes, two mini cookies, grapes, and some mini scones. I could’ve eaten the whole stand all by myself and still would have been hungry! We were shocked when we confirmed with the server that these 2 stands were the 4 orders of the The Siren. It seemed more like 2 orders and we couldn’t believe that each stand at our table essentially cost $ 48! I understand that part of the appeal of the tea room is more than just the food, but this component of the whole experience was a major let down and really hampered our ability to enjoy the experience. The sandwiches tasted mediocre and some(like the cucumber and cream cheese) were completely bland. The cupcakes were ok. The cookies were a little hard and tasted stale. The scones and the coconut whipped cream were the best thing on the stand. As we were trying to catch the waiters attention to get the check(which took quite a while), my friends were already looking up which restaurant we would go to afterwards so that we could actually get something filling and tasty to eat.

Ive been to this cute bakery twice and love it. I suffer from celiac disease and also cant consume soy, or dairy. I NEVER eat out. I cook and prepare all my meals at home, as I always get extremely sick if I try to eat out at a restaurant(yes even if I order on the gluten free menu). My sister had her baby shower here to help cater to those of her guests with dietary restrictions. I was extremely scared to eat anything. After asking a ton of questions about their ingredients, and cross contamination concerns etc… I saw the paninis and cupcakes and went for it. Not only did everything taste amazing, I safely was able to indulge in food I hadn’t been able to consume at a restaurant in years! AND I DIDNTGETSICK! I highly reccomend trying Royal Tea and Treatery, for anyone who has Celiac, Lactose Intolerance. or if your vegan … there are delicious options for you to safely indulge in here!!!

Went here for a friend’s birthday and was super excited because I love going to tea rooms. It has lovely décor and they have a lot of props for picture taking. Ambience is very cute and fun. I wasn’t aware it’s dairy free and gluten free prior to coming here, but it is evident in taste. Tea selection is limited. We also had to ask several times for creamer and honey for the tea. Overall, it was a nice place for a celebration but will most likely not come back.

Came on a busy Saturday with a huge party in the back going on. I’ve been here before, but this was my first time under new management. Décor is cute, not comfortable at all. The owner was really nice and sweet as well as our server. In the middle there was a lull in service. Waters and teas needed to be refilled for a good 20 min before anyone came by. This might’ve been due to the huge party going on. This place is also gluten and dairy free. We had a girl from London with us and her jaw about dropped when she heard they didn’t have cream for her tea. LOL they do have almond milk. I had the turkey sandwich. Bread was dry and completely crumbling with every bite. I had english breakfast tea which was good and had a bite of their coffee cake which was delicious. None of us girls that went are gluten or dairy free so I think we’ll pass if this place is brought up. But hey, I get it. Some people are and this place is great for them. Just not for me.

Everything here is delicious, dairy free, gluten free, and 70% of the menu is soy free. Royal Tea & Treatery is the place to go for tasty finger foods — sandwiches, tea cakes, cupcakes, peanut butter cups — with SO much variety of each, and side yummy salads to curb the guilt without shriveling taste buds!

If you are gluten &/or dairy free RT&T is an absolute must!!! This place is absolutely fabulous! The food and treats are amazing! I was in town for 4 days and managed to squeeze in 6 visits. The owner and manager are very friendly, the décor is adorable, the kitchen looks very professional and clean. The tea is great, although i only had english breakfast, i was very pleased. The desserts were fantastic as well as the tea sandwiches. The blt panini was so phenomenal i ordered it twice. The bread was great! Seems as though you cant go wrong here. Could not make a stronger recommendation!

So in LOVE with this place! Lady at footsie shoe store referred me and my oh my was I happy she did! Management was so nice and welcoming. I felt right at home! She was so proud of their craft which made it a special experience :) The«Little nibbler» option was my favorite because you get tea and a small assortment of many of their top options. It is the perfect portion that is filling, tasty, and satisfying. Best part is, everything gluten-free!

I wish there were more cute and trendy tea rooms in Orange County. But then. that’s what makes this place unique. I visited this place years ago when I believe was a different owner. I never made a review or never found a great reason to return until now. I came in with my 5 yr old daughter for a cute tea party and some bonding time. We got the cucumber and pita chips with hummus to start then my daughter got the personal lil tea party which includes a pot of tea, tea sandwich, small brownie, cupcake, toffee bar and fresh scone with whipped crème. I ordered the BLT sandwich accompanied with a delicious romaine cranberry salad and a pot of the peach tea. They have a great variety of sandwiches and salads as well as a great tea selection. We were just bummed they didn’t have the pasta salad available. My daughter had such a great experience overall! She was able to play with a variety of hats that were displayed and there were several colorful seating areas to adore. The lady was very helpful and friendly. Everything came out in a timely manner and service was excellent. Overall we look forward to visiting again and will be looking into booking a future party.

Décor: lovey! Such a cute place to meet up with girlfriends and brunch or afternoon tea! Food: I wouldn’t have known everything was gluten free if I wasn’t told Price: expensive! I’d rather pay a little more to be at the Pelican Hills or Tres in LA(just saying)

My gluten-free friend brought me here when she found an online deal. She seemed satisfied with her meal. She will probably be returning. I will not be. Hey, I think it’s great that there is a place for people with gluten-free, dairy-free diets can go to for tea! But if you CAN have gluten and dairy… don’t go here. Just don’t. I can easily name at least three tearooms in the region where the sandwiches and desserts taste better than bland and the loose tea selection goes beyond a dozen choices. The décor is very cute, I’ll give them that, but I feel like that is their one selling point for the average tea drinker. The food and tea certainly aren’t.

So happy we found this place. The entire restaurant is gluten and dairy free! My mom and sister and I came for my birthday lunch and it was so great to be able to order anything off of the menu! Everything we tried was great but my favorite items were the chicken panini and turkey avocado sandwiches. The bread is really really good and made at the restaurant. It is a little dense but tastes just right toasted on the panini. We were told that the only item not baked in the store is the bread used for the small tea sandwiches. Favorite dessert was the brownie, it was moist and dense which is hard to do gluten and dairy free. The interior of the restaurant in decorated very cute. Its the perfect place for a party or shower and has a English tea party feel.
