Went here twice in the last couple of weeks, once with some friends and another time i brought my mom because I knew she would enjoy it. I was not disappointed! The prices are very affordable, you can get 3 strips, bread, fries AND a drink for only $ 7! The strips are constantly being made fresh throughout the day, and the wait time for the meal to be done is 3 minutes tops, which is outstanding for a place like this. The cane sauce is pretty good, I do think honey mustard would taste better, but it’s definitely a different kind of flavor, with a touch of Cajun feel, without the spice that makes it so tasty. The fries are also very fresh and crinkle cut, which is my favorite kind. I wish there was a closer location for when I’m at home for the summer, but I definitely know I’ll be going back when I’m back in Irvine!

Drive thru was busy so I opted to order inside. It is spacious and clean, menu was bright and big, simple and easy. The lemonade behind the cashier was going gone fast, didn’t order it but it looked refreshing on a hot day. The chicken fingers and the sauce was sooo good. It was fresh because my 10 minute drive to home, the bag was steaming. Skinny crinkle fries were still crisp. Outdoor seating looked and felt great with the sunset and breeze, must come back again.

The sauce is good but the chicken was completely flavorless. There was not salt or pepper to the batter. The fries were also flavorless but at least had a good crisp without being too oily. Much prefer Chic-fil-a across the street.

So one of my co-workers is all about this place and will drive several times a week from Long Beach. I’m not that crazy about chicken fingers but this place definitely served the juiciest yet crispy chicken fingers i’ve ever had! I was impressed as impressed as chicken fingers could get you I guess. Everything was pretty tasty but there were way too many carbs with the toast to try to get down in one sitting. The sauce is not bad either. Its a cross between a gravy bbq sauce and ranch? Our combos came with chicken fingers, fries, garlic toast, coleslaw, and a drink.

This place is horrible. I went in do to friends reviewing this place and saying it was good stuff. I walked in and the place looks hip! I liked it they placed good music. The cashier didn’t seem too friendly. Maybe she was having an off day. I didn’t know if I had to sit down or wait for my order it would’ve been nice to know this ahead of time. And lastly, they only offer one sauce! Their sauce!!! At least maybe ranch or bbq but that sauce was disgusting! It tasted like Mayo and ketchup like I could’ve made it at home! Maybe if they had a better attitude and different sauce if give it a try

THOSECHICKENFINGERSANDTHESAUCETHO! I was in the area and remembered that one location opened up in Costa Mesa! Cool chicken place that also has a drive thru. You walk in and the establishment is pretty big. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is pretty simple. There are chicken finger boxes that include toast, coleslaw and fries. They also have party trays starting with 30 pieces. The chicken fingers come out fresh! It is very crunchy and flavorful. The sauce really makes it tho. It really pairs well with the chicken fingers. The fries could be a little crispier but maybe that’s just me lol. Their house lemonade is pretty good. Not too sweet or too sour. I believe there is an additional charge if you get the lemonade instead of the regular fountain drinks. The chicken is moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. They do not sell whole chickens or chicken pieces. Strictly chicken fingers(tenders). Call in your order If you plan on ordering the party trays. The trays are already vented with holes to keep your chicken crispy.

Today I ordered The Box! *Chicken: It comes with three pieces of chicken. The chicken is very crispy and just the way how I love my crispyfied chicken! Their fingerstrips are meaty as well. *Bread: It also comes with a piece of bread and it looks like it’s a piece of garlic bread. It is soft and toasty and has a hint of a sweetness. This bread is not skinny and small but it is long, medium, and thick! I usually dip my bread with the Raising Cane sauce and I love it! *Raising Cane Sauce: I usually order an extra one because I feel like one sauce isn’t enough! It looks like the In-N-Out sauce that they put on their burgers. It is their special sauce that they make. The only down side about this sauce is that it is too small for me. I wish they could upgrade the sauce size because it is too darn small for me. If you want to order extra then you pay extra which is worth it if you love the sauce. The taste of it isn’t sweet which I thought it would be. It has a small smoky hint, thousand island less sweetness. They mentioned that it has honey mustard mixed with it but I couldn’t taste it(I have a sweet tooth) *Coleslaw: The serving size of this coleslaw is just too small for me! It is alright, tastes fresh, but no biggie. they need to upgrade on this size as well! *Sweet Tea: Now this is my fave! It is sooo refreshing, smoothe, and delicious! I love it so much and you can get free refills too! Love love love it! Everytime I think of Raising Cane, I plan on bringing brown rice and Mang Tomas which is a filipino lechon sauce! I think it would taste great and also with waffles and syrup as well ;)

Stopped by first day afternoon waited in line twenty minutes and another twenty for food not a problem I understand it’s busy. However food should be piping hot! I tried it again the following day this time testing the closing time. One of my pet peeves is if your open till 3am like they are on weekends then be prepared to offer full service. The habit up the street does this very well oh and they don’t charge for extra dipping sauces like Cane’s does. The chicken both times was tender and juicy but no flavor or seasoning what so ever and not hot, the coating was decent crunch and does not slide off. Personally I’ll take Popeyes tenders freshly made any day just as tender with flavor and very crunchy. I love crinkle cut fries only because I used to get the best at a little mom and pop restaurant and they were perfect every time! Cane’s were limp and cold both times no excuse for cold fries. The toast is good but just tasted of butter not the garlic flavor I had read about. Lastly the coleslaw was very good. They need a marinade with flavor for the chicken and give extra sauce with in reason with out a charge .70 for two honey mustard dips Ok tried 4 times now not impressed last time barely any crunchy coating and no honey mustard available only cane sauce but not everyone wants cane sauce. Need to be more consistent with coating and some flavor without sauce also need more than just cane sauce and honey mustard when they have it like maybe bbq and buffalo have done options! I’ll stick with Popeyes much crunchier spicy or mild many sauce choices and just as fresh! Many side choices as well Tried again just can’t get on board weak crunchy coating slides off easily. Fries limp and many bottom dwellers stuff at bottom of the bag. BACKTOPOPEYE’S!

A restaurant names after the Founder’s dog, now that is something I can get behind! This is all very apparent in the K9 inspired décor seen throughout the shop. And if that were not good enough, immediately as I walked through the front door, I was greeted by some of my favorite smell in the whole world — french fries and fried chicken. Cane’e has a pretty simple menu comprised of a few different combos made up of chicken fingers, crinkle fires, coleslaw, a side of Cane’s sauce, a slice of Texas toast and a drink. They also have a chicken sandwich and a kids menu option. There are only 3 options of sauces here, Cane’s sauce — which tastes like a creamy thousand island heavily salted and peppered, honey mustard and good old ketchup. Orders come out freshly made to order and piping hot. I am a huge fry girl and it takes a lot to win me over, let’s just say that I already had a mouthful of fries before my husband even set the tray down on the table. People, I am talking Shake Shack status french fries here. They were crispy and delicious and salted to perfection! The chicken fingers are crispy and juicy as I tore into them. Unlike other places, they used real unprocessed chicken for their fingers, wins all around. I’m not a huge fan of coleslaw so that container was left unopened but I nibble on the heavily buttered thick Texas toast. The meal felt a bit carb heavy with that addition but everything was absolutely delicious nonetheless. Pricing here was great, my husband and I shared the Caniac combo with 6 chicken fingers and an addition side of fries and everything came to a whopping $ 13.26. Fun fact — Raising Cane, the pup namesake is a certified therapy dog that spends her Tuesday visiting the local hospital. Amazing.

I’ve never had raising canes but I’ve always heard good things about it. I wanted to wait after the hype period so I don’t have to wait an hour to get my food: D honestly the best chicken fingers I’ve ever had!!! Nothing can compare to kfc or Popeyes. The chicken is so moist, juicy, tender and crispy. The sauce that comes with it complements it really well. I can’t tell what the sauce is but looks like mayo, ketchup and black pepper. My friend and I got our order in less than 5 minutes. I was impressed. The food was premade but it didn’t come out cold, it was still warm and the fries were crispy. The Texas toast was fluffy and buttery. I really liked it. I wanted another slice after I finished. You would think that the portion wouldn’t fill you up but it does. 3 slices of chicken with a side of fries and toast got me into a food coma! I was disappointed with the choices of soft beverages. There wasn’t much options besides soda. But you come for the food not drinks, right?

My roomie and I got here at 12:58am on a Tuesday. They close in 2 mins. The drive thru line was plenty long and we waited until 1:07 until it was our turn. I thought they wee going to turn us away because they are technically closed. BUTTHEYDIDN’T. They took our order and since it was my first time I took a bit looking over the menu. To my surprise it was super easy. I just went with The Box. Comes with 4 chicken stripes, fries, toast, cole slaw and a drink. I mean c’mon does it get any better than this? They handed us our order and we were on our merry way. Service is an A+. The food was great too however I’m not super impressed by it. There’s nothing wrong with the food, don’t get me wrong. It tasted good! But it just wasn’t the little slice of heaven I wish or thought it was going to be. The chicken wasn’t as flavorful as I thought. The sweet tea was like the McDonalds ones I get(sorry!). The fries were good the next day when I rebaked them. I mean I think my favorite part was the cole slaw and their sauce. Wish the portion of that was bigger and no toast. To each their own I guess. It hit the spot for my fried chicken craving but I wish it was much larger portion to really food coma me out. Will return! Hoping next time it would be 2 mins before closing. Thanks crew, we really appreciate it though!

Ive bee here a few times now. They had some drink issues early on that seem to be resolved now. The chicken is really good, tender, tasty and goes well in the sauce they give you. The fries are pretty good too. I like that they have containers togo that don’t make the fries all soggy. The cole slaw is also good. To me it taste like it would be off the hook if it sat over night and got a little softer, but the taste is very good. I love the sweet tea but my Doc don’t. LOL I mix the sweet and regular and makes a more diabetic friendly beverage. People in the parking lot are a different bread. Ive had three issues trying to get my car out and people just act like they cant see around them and refuse to move. Not the fault of Canes but I would like to see them send out a staff to help out when it gets zoo like there.

With over 700 reviews, I am sure you get the gist of Raising Cane’s— tender breaded chicken, with this gross-ness that is called«texas toast» and a mountain of crinkle cut fries. My suggestion and my hope is that someone can order chicken a la carte(less than 25 pieces) if they want to avoid that toast and fries. The sauce is amazing as others have mentioned, and if you haven’t eaten here I do reco that you go at least once. Enjoy! 43⁄2016

I was not that impressed. The chicken fingers were a little bland and the deep fried crust was not that memorable. It was not that crispy with not much flavor. The french fries were just average. Their special dipping sauce was nothing special. The cole slaw was lackluster as well. It tasted like a combination of mayonnaise, ketchup and a little spice. My favorite thing was their texas toast.

So I usually try to shy away from fried, but not if it’s great!(I’m human) Just like most Californians, I’d never heard of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers. So while driving by we saw the line and figured how could it be bad if that many people were lined up. LOCATION&AMBIANCE(Rating 4) It’s fast food. so a 4 rating is probably a bit high for location and ambieance, but it was done pretty well with ample seating, an efficient interior layout. SERVICE(Rating 4) Again a high rating for fast food, but just like Chic Filet(across the street) the cashiers were nice and the restaurant was well kept. CHICKENFINGERS(Rating 4) The batter is what it’s all about. A perfect balance, not too hard, not too crispy, but not soggy. Not too oily, but not dry. The chicken was cooked to perfection, plenty moist and piping hot. Definitely one of the better chicken fingers I’ve had, especially from a fast food joint. I could also get used to the Texas toast. Pretty good.

Rating: 4.5 This is probably some of the best chicken tenders I’ve had in my life, especially from a fast food joint. The chicken is cooked perfectly and is so juicy and tender, and has a nice crispy batter. It pairs perfectly with their signature sauce, I’ve never tried a sauce like it before, but I’m hooked. The Texas toast is nice and fluffy and super buttery! I really liked the toast paired with the chicken and the fries. Also i definitely recommend their lemonade, it’s not too sweet or tart. It’s perfectly balanced in my opinion. This place has wayyyy better chicken than chik fil a, I already want more! I also love that this place is open till 3am Thursday-Saturday. Definitely will be coming back soon.

Heaven finally answered my prayers and brought Cane’s to California! I first picked up a Cane’s habit during a visit to Vegas in 2011; I was blown away by how delicious a simple plate of chicken fingers could be! Since then, no visit to Sin City has been complete without a visit to Raising Cane’s — and you can imagine how stoked I was to learn that the brand was expanding its operations into Socal: _______________ + The hype around Cane’s is pretty comparable to that of In & Out; we visited around dinnertime on a weekend, and the place was packed with diners. We opted to order in, but I did notice that the drive-thru was equally slammed with patrons. Either way — it’s well worth the short wait. + The dining environment is loud, lively, and full of energy; In my opinion, it’s the perfect set of surroundings to get you hyped for a big serving of chicken! We didn’t have much trouble finding a booth to sit at, in spite of how full the place was. Cane’s also has a patio with outdoor seating, perfect for sunny days. + The service at Raising Cane’s is spot-on. The cashier who took our order took a genuine interest in how our weekend was going, and this ended up leading into a short, spontaneous discussion about music festivals. For as short as it may have been, this little chat was a nice departure from the robotic, recycled sort of conversations that I’ve come to expect at casual fast food chains. _______________ + I’d recommend going with either the Caniac Combo or the Box Combo, depending on how hungry you are. Both options offer the same selections in differing quantities; you’ll be getting Chicken Fingers(either 4 in the Box or 6 in the Caniac), a healthy scoop of Crinkle-Cut Fries, Texas Toast, Coleslaw, a side(2 with the Caniac) of super-secret Cane’s Sauce, & either a Regular or Large Drink. I’ve taken down a Caniac on my own before, but I’d recommend only doing so if you’re coming in with a massive appetite(See how Cane’s & Vegas go hand-in-hand yet?). Regardless of what you choose to order, Cane’s will take good care of you. + The food here isn’t particularly fancy or innovative; rather, it’s all about unpretentiousness and outstanding execution. The chicken fingers are amazingly tender and cooked to the perfect consistency; there’s a satisfying crunch to every bite, and the chicken meat tastes wonderfully juicy, fresh, and authentic(i.e. not rubbery in the slightest!). + The fries, coleslaw, & Texas Toast are all great accompaniments to the chicken, and are made that much more delicious when paired with the Cane’s Sauce(a tasty sweet blend that tastes like«Ketchup 2.0»). Again, the flavors won’t be anything new or unexpected — it’s all just classic Southern comfort food done right. + In true New Orleans fashion, it makes perfect sense to wash down a big order of Raising Cane’s with a Sweet Tea. The blend at Cane’s lives up to its name(it’s satisfyingly sugary) and also serves as a nice palate cleanser. For a meal consisting pretty much entirely of carbs & fried stuff, Cane’s doesn’t leave you feeling bloated or grossed out. The portion sizes are quite balanced — filling but not unreasonably so. _______________ I can honestly say that Cane’s Chicken Fingers are probably the best chicken tenders that I’ve ever had. Pay this place a visit and see why they do such a good job of separating themselves from the competition!

For all of the crowds and lines for this place, I was disappointed. The menu is limited to only chicken fingers, and chicken sandwiches but I actually like the limited menu, just like In-N-Out Burger. The food was good, I wish the chicken fingers were more crunchy. They offer 1 sauce option which I don’t like. I’m not crazy about the sauce either. The bread is very good though! I would recommend trying Canes but don’t waste your time waiting in the long lines. If you want to wait in lines, go to Chik-Fil-A across the street. I think the chicken is much better there anyway.

A taste of Vegas in Cali! Drive thru and indoor lines can get pretty long but they’re pretty quick with it. The sauce is everything. Dip your chicken, your fries and even your bread in it. The only downside of this location is their small serving of fries.

I was super excited Canes made it to California! But my experience here was very disappointing. The portions were MUCH smaller. One of my chicken fingers was the size of a sharpie pen, really?!? Everything is served in a to-go box which limits the fries we got also. I still love Canes but I will just have to wait to eat it again somewhere outside California. PS turn the music down, not a club.

Very bland generic cold slaw, bland chicken fingers, tasted like they used no seasoning at all, tasteless frys as well, noisy in the inner restaurant dining room. The one bright spot was their in-house made dipping sauce for the chicken tenders, whatever it is it is very good. The staff was friendly and attentive.

My boyfriend and I tried RC when they first opened and didn’t totally understand the hype, but after going back several times since, I totally get it! The chicken here is so much better than any other fast food quality and the fries are delicious! What really makes RC a hit though is the sauce — IDK what it is but it’s amazing! Not to mention they have delicious lemonade and iced tea to go with everything. So glad they expanded to the West Coast, definitely my favorite fast food joint!

This place sells one thing… Only one thing. But it does it well haha. Technically I guess they also sell a chicken sandwich but really it’s just the chicken fingers in a bun. Parking: Can get pretty crowded! This place is like the in-n-out for chicken fingers. The lot isn’t huge and unless you come at an odd hour, there’s usually a fair amount of people there. Service: The employees are nice but they don’t have any sort of line system. Hopefully they figure that out because when it’s crowded people just form in weird zig zag formations. They also messed up my order and gave me bread instead of Cole slaw. They just replaced it for me but I thought it was weird because usually people just give you the missing item and you keep the incorrect one because they just end up trashing it anyways(not that I would have eaten the bread, I just found the practice interesting). Product: The chicken fingers were pretty good and reasonably priced. The cane sauce is what the hype is supposed to be about but to be honest I would have preferred hot sauce. The fries are also crispy despite being the wavy type of fries. The sweet tea is also supposed to be their thing. Would come again, but not something I’d go out of my way for. The best thing about this joint is its simplicity. Fingers, fries, fat.

Everything was as advertised. The restaurant was clean and the employees were friendly. It was a madhouse and parking was impossible. With the line out the door, I guess I just expected more. We brought home a bunch of strips and the chicken was tender and juicy. The RC sauce was not my cup of tea, so maybe that is why I’m not KRAZED over Raising Cane’s. So check it out for yourself, great place to meet new people while waiting in line. The public has spoken though and this place is POPULAR.

Honestly, I just thought it was. Alright. The Raising Cane’s sauce is really what makes the chicken fingers. I also got the box combo which is pretty much their most popular item. They have different sizes of combos, depending upon how many chicken fingers you would like. The drive thru was paaaacked when we got here, but not too many people were inside. The food was ready pretty quickly upon ordering, which makes this place somewhere you can actually go on your lunch break and make it back on time. The box combo comes with chicken fingers, the sauce, fries, Texas toast, and a drink. I swapped out the toast for coleslaw. The side of coleslaw was extremely tiny. The sauce really gave the chicken a lot of flavor. Without it, the chicken would just have been… Eh. They’re open super late! I left feeling not too good from all the grease I had just consumed. A once in a while type of place. Until the next time I crave chicken fingers…

Fast food done right. Got in ordered food, and started eating all within 20 or so minutes. Which is a bit long for a fast food joint, but this place is always poppin and they get your order relatively quickly. I love chicken, and the chicken tenders here are so fresh and juicy. The Raising Cane’s sauce tastes perfect with the chicken and the meals come with piece of warm bread and coleslaw. My Mrs and I enjoyed the Caniac combo which comes with six strips. If you like to share, this one is the perfect for you and your companion. Parking sucks, so bewary.

Okay so this was my first time ever trying Raising Cane’s. I’ve always known about this spot and seen friends post about it whenever they went to Vegas so when I found out this one opened I was highly excited to try it out. One of my coworkers actually hyped it up a lot and many others as well so I felt the need to try it at least once to get my personal opinion on it. First thought coming into the store, it was well clean and the sign on the wall was a pretty awesome design. I had to Snap chat it. My friend told me to get the four piece combo with the drink and he highly advised to get an extra piece of toast instead of the coleslaw but I kind of like coleslaw so I wanted to try it out. Now here is where it gets good. The chicken was pretty crispy just how I like it. It had a good amount of flavor and it was extremely juicy! The fries were just normal crinkle cut fries and it was a nice addition to the meal. The coleslaw in my opinion is no different from any other spot like KFC but it is a bit less thick if I must say. BUT what made the meal for me was the Cane’s sauce and the toast. GOODLORDWASTHATTOASTGOOD. Idk what’s in the Cane’s sauce but it had me wanting more and more of it. Once I took my first bite of the toast, I literally was bugged eyed and in heaven. It was so glorious… For under $ 10, that meal was just perfect. I was pretty full afterwards and it is definitely worth the money and the drive considering I drove 40 mines to try it out!

I know KFC advertises itself as «Finger licking good» but this place is the definition of finger licking good! I’ve always wanted to try Raising Canes every time I was in Vegas but I just never get around to it because it is off the strip where I usually stay. However, I was super pumped when Raising Cane announced that they were opening up a location in Costa Mesa. I finally had a chance to try it the other day. First off, this place is packed and the lines are long! I can’t even imagine sitting in the drive through. Come here during off hours because people are lining for essentially chicken fingers, fries, cole slaw and texas toast. We decided to go with the Cainiac and it comes with 6 chicken fingers(4 bites and you’re done) fries, 2 cane sauce, texas toast and a large drink. It was under $ 10 for sure and it was enough to satisfy my girlfriend and I. Furthermore, they should rename their sauce to amazing sauce because it is amazing. It’s like a blend of thousand islands and chipotle sauce. It was simply delightful. Honestly, the food here is hands down amazing. Overall, I don’t know what Southern fried chicken is like but I know it is good. But like a famous Justice said«I know it when I see it.» This place is amazing! Believe the hype because it is legit!

This place has so much hype. I finally came to check it out when the lies died down and I have to see I think it’s OK. +Chicken tenders/fingers: Yes these are pretty awesome. They’re sort of half fried or soft fried so the chicken itself is incredibly tender and the batter is very light. But because of this, the batter does start to come off immediately, even the batter touching the bottom of the chicken/box started to steam a little and come off. I don’t think this will be good if you didn’t eat it immediately. ALSO, the chicken tender was a bit bland. Like the batter wasn’t really seasoned maybe this was done on purpose so you can eat it with their specialty sauce but I wish it had some spices on it. –Texas toast: Soft toast. It’s okay. –Fries: I’m not a fan of crinkly fries. It just reminds me of something they make right out of the freezer. Overall, not bad but not worth all the hype.

Finally decided to check out Canes after the hype died down cause ain’t nobody got time to wait an hour for chicken tenders Menu is short and simple. 4 different combo deals ranging from $ 6 – 11 but the smaller combos are still a lot of food, trust. I got the 3 piece combo and a friend of mine got the 4 piece«box”(?) combo. He cleared his plate in like 10 minutes so I don’t think I need to explain how he felt about the food haha. As for myself, the chicken tenders were really good and juicy. Soft and tender. Texas toast was amazing. Fries were good but I’m not much of fries person so I didn’t eat much. And for my drink, I opted for the sweet tea since I’ve heard great things about it but honestly it tastes just like McDonald’s sweet tea but sweeter. Which isn’t a bad thing! I still very much enjoyed it. Overall a generally enjoyable meal and experience. Meal came out surprisingly fast. Food was tasty but nothing blew my mind. Will definitely come back if I’m in the mood for chicken tenders.

One thing I really like about Raising Cane’s is the simplicity of the menu. They serve chicken… and chicken only. You choose how many pieces you want, how you want to eat it, and what sides you want to accompany your fried food journey. I went with the four-piece that came with cole slaw, fries, a house dipping sauce and a piece of Texas toast. The toast itself is REALLY salty — but if you’re into that, you’ll enjoy it. The chicken strips were a good size and the four more than filled me up. I’m not a huge fan of cole slaw, but I thought this stuff was pretty good. It’s a small serving, so it was about 3 – 4 bites max, so no complaints. If there is a line, it moves pretty fast. The staff’s friendly and there’s a good amount of parking. If you’re a late night eater, you’ll be happy that they are open past midnight on most days and even 3am on the busier ones. For two people, our total was under $ 15 — so the value is definitely there. They’re opening a location closer to our house and I’m sure I’ll be a frequent visitor when I need a chicken strip fix!

I decided to try out this place with my friends on a whim one Friday evening, and I had low expectations coming in since I usually don’t fall into hype. Health-nuts beware, this isn’t exactly the best place to eat if you want it to fit your macros! It was a great cheat meal and… dare I say it-better than the soul food I got when I was in Georgia. I ordered the Box Combo($ 7.87 incl. tax) and it came with 4 decently-sized chicken fingers, fries, Texas toast, cole slaw, Cane’s sauce, and a drink. When I walked through the doors, I noticed their little«1 in 3 people win!» sign and I laughed to myself thinking that it was ridiculous. There was a little sticker to peel off of my drink for a chance to win something, and I did! I got a free chicken finger, and I felt luckier than the Powerball winner(no not really)! The chicken fingers were UNBELIEVABLY tender and juicy-especially for chicken breast! I loved how it was perfectly peppered and salted. Not too salty, just right. It tasted like fresh chicken, and you can definitely tell that there was a lot more love put into this chicken compared to other places! The sauce that it comes with tasted like Thousand Island with worchestershire added into it since there was a tinge of sourness. The toast was nicely buttered and crisp, cole slaw was nice and sweet with a good crunch, and the fries were just meh since they tasted and looked like they came out of a bag of frozen crinkle-cut fries from Walmart that were throw in some oil. I couldn’t even finish my box or my free chicken finger, and I eat a lot(LOL), so I ended up giving it to my friend. Definitely got my money’s worth! Overall, I was not disappointed. It was worth the hype I see plastered all over Instagram and Snapchat. Great service and great job, Cane’s!

I had heard about Raising Cane’s from my Nevadan friends, who have recommended it as a cheap place to eat while in Vegas. Well, I haven’t gotten a chance to try it there, but now that they opened one in California, I never have to leave the comfort of my own state! I had THEBOX($ 7.29), which is the 4 pc strip meal. Service was quick, and I received my meal in under 5 minutes. Their iced tea(sweetened) is good, but I’m not sure why people are raving about it. The chicken was super juicy and had the perfect amount of crisp… I can see why it gets a lot of attention. However, I had been slathering them in the sauce, and I ran out by the last chicken strip. Turns out they are lacking in flavor once you don’t have the dipping sauce. Coleslaw was tasteless. Texas toast was nice texture wise, but didn’t add anything special to the table. Fries were just your average tasting fries. Overall I would not go out of my way to come here again. As far as fast food fried chicken goes, dare I say I would rather go to KFC? Again, the food is not bad… but I think this was a one time deal. Food: 3, Service: 4, Environment: 4, Price: 3

I tried the box combo for $ 7.29. It came with 4 chicken fingers, crinkled cut fries, cole slaw, Texas toast, and a drink. There aren’t a whole lot of choices here. Raising Cane’s specializes in chicken fingers and that’s about the only item one can order, along with some sides. The chicken fingers are moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. They tasted pretty good and there is a ketchup-mayo based sauce in which one can dip their chicken in. The cole slaw tasted ok, the ingredients were definitely fresh and crisp. The fries are crinkle cut and are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Taste wise they were a little plain and tasted just ok. The Texas toast is basically toast fried on one side. It tasted ok, but I just felt I was eating a lot of carbs. For drinks there have an assortment of soft drinks as well as a sweet tea. I sampled the sweat tea and it was an extremely sweet iced tea. They also have options for 25, 50, 75, and 100 chicken fingers. I guess that’s good for tailgating or for large parties. Overall the food is decent taste wise and is a good deal for the price. I’m not a big fan of fast food, but this would definitely be one of the better options out there at a reasonable price.

The fried chicken is seasoned and breaded nicely. Great flavor. This is the in-n-out of fried chicken. The fries are crispy and soft. And then the butter toast is thicker than your average. Overall: will return to try everything. Be prepared to wait in line.

My first time trying Raising Cane’s was in Las Vegas & I was immediately blown away by how juicy and crispy the chicken fingers were. So when they opened up a chain in Costa Mesa, I knew I had to come have it again. I ordered the Box Combo($ 7-ish), which included: — 4 chicken fingers — texas toast — fries — cole slaw — one cane’s sauce — a regular drink. Presentation wise, it looked identical and just as good as how I remembered it. My only complaint is that the chicken fingers were a little dry and only good when it’s eaten hot. Once your chicken gets cold, it tastes even dryer. I guess the house sauce makes up for it! The cane’s sauce is amazingggg. If you love thousand island dressing, you will definitely enjoy the cane’s sauce. Honestly, don’t eat with your eyes while ordering… The portions are huge. My BF ordered the Caniac Combo($ 11) and he was able to leave with leftovers. Service was great and efficient. Our cashier even brought our food out to the table for my BF and I. Plenty of seating indoors and a couple of table outside. Parking was a breeze. Would I venture out 40 minutes from LA to come here again… Probably yes, but not for a while!

This place is all about Chicken Tenders! I love me some tenders any day. I opted for the Caniac all to myself since I felt a little greedy that day. Caniac Combo: 6 Chicken Fingers Extra Fries Coleslaw 2 Cane’s Sauce Texas Toast Large Drink The tenders have the perfect texture and flavor. I am a fan or crispy fries and these were pretty crispy. The coleslaw, cane sauce and texas toast were all a miss for me. The slaw wasn’t sweet enough for me. I like KFC’s more. The cane sauce didn’t pack a punch and tasted like just sauce. I ended up dipping it with ketchup. Even BBQ sauce would have been better. The texas toast was soft and light in flavor. I opted for the fresh lemonade for an extra $.30 which was worth it. Was refreshing and didn’t taste so sugary. Will have to give it up to the cashier that were friendly and refilled my lemonade when another patron spilled mine.

I love me some Raising Cane’s! I’ve been waiting for them to open up in SoCal, and they finally have! I think of Raising Cane’s as the chicken finger version of In-n-Out Burger. They have a simple menu, clean restaurants and friendly staff. I have never had a bad experience at any Raising Cane’s and all of the employees seem genuinely happy to work there. The fact that they have an adorable dog as their mascot(Cane) doesn’t hurt either. The chicken fingers are good, especially with their signature sauce. Cole slaw and fries are also winners as is their Texas toast(LOVE their Texas toast!). There really is something to be said about no over-diversifying your menu. Keep it simple and so it right. Cane’s also involves themselves with local charities, and currently have a promotion during the holidays where you can buy a little stuffed Cane in a «Buddy the Elf» costume and proceeds will go to charity. I have no complaints about the food or service at this particular location, but there is a major design flaw outside with the parking lot and drive-thru. The drive-thru lane is on the left of the parking lot, which means that you basically have cars on the wrong side of the road since vehicles can still enter from the other direction. When the drive-thru gets busy and the line gets long, the cars tend to block many of the parking stalls making it difficult to get in/out. The line also blocks the drive-thru exit, as the exit goes right back into the parking lot instead of out to Harbor Boulevard like it should. Obviously this isn’t something that they’re going to change, so just plan accordingly. This is also one of the bigger restaurants of theirs, so it can get quite noisy when it’s busy. If you’ve never been here, you must go. It’s as simple as that.
