Non-Existant! Drove by– this place is a dark, teensy weird little office? space? on a dead end st. No lights on during normal business hours? 10AM on a Thursday, they’re closed? Call the phone # listed here on Unilocal– and got some STRANGEVM for like 3 or 4 other… businesses? Totally strange. I have a moto-bike frame tagged frm these jokers, and they do not exist anymore. Anybody wanna buy a mode tank frame, 24′?

If you’re looking for a piece of art to ride around town, Mode Bikes is the place to go. The owner, Jay, puts his heart and soul into every bike he builds. He will do anything to make sure his customers are happy. Jay has a great heart, is very passionate about his work and is super friendly. Don’t miss out on a chance to own something completely unique!

Who would have ever thought bicycles can look sooooo awesome! I’ve been a road and mountain cyclist and love motorcycles both road and race. But Jay at Mode bikes impress me beyond words. Take a classic Triumph, add a healthy dose of Ducati, and top it off with a rat rod and you’ve barely touched the surface of Jay’s work. Similar to legendary artists’ work that only the trained eye can observe, the custom bikes built your way by Jay will definitely be a collectors item as he ascends to legendary greatness. I’ve not found one single thing jay can not do or build with any bikes, then again, the crazier the idea or theme, the pricier it gets. Being a perfectionist, he will do it his way. And when it’s done, you’ll know why! He’s one of the nicest and most blessed person I know and he’ll take time to fill up the neighborhood kids’ bike tires up and chat with them while he’s trying to crank through his two month backlog of $ 2500+ bikes. I am humbled and blessed to be in Jay’s company and to have him in my life! Yes, my Felt Deep Six electric bike is on back order!

If you’re in the area and want to see some great work, drop by! I always come here whenever i’m looking for that unique part, or when I need some advice on a bike of mine. The owner Jay and his wife(sorry never caught your name) are always friendly and welcoming! Even if I leave empty handed I always leave satisfied! He does some cool things with his wider wheels and cruisers. A MUSTSEE. Has a booklet of previous work that you can look through and build you own parts!

Way expensive, but you cant put a price on art. The bikes here are beyond beautiful. What else is there to say? Check it out, it’s located at the lab right between the public bathroom outside the sushi joint and fountain of oil barrels.

My husband and I got custom built bikes made here. We initially just went to get whatever bikes and our budget was way less then what we actually ended up spending but it was worth it. When you walk up, he has all of his custom made bikes out for you to view and each one is so unique. My husband ended up getting a Lakers themed bike made and I got a puple and pink one made. We just picked them up this weekend and they get SO much attention! It’s pricey and not the place to go if you just want a whatever bike.

Custom made bikes. Super friendly staff, has that mom &POP feel. They are super helpful. I biked down there to check them out(read an article about them), needed a kick stand(the store bought ones weren’t tall enough for my cruiser), ended up leaving with 2 new tires & chain also. He assembeled everything right there and fixed some other small things he saw wrong with my bike(free of charge). They have a cool location(at The Lab — back parking lot POP up shop — literally, his Element houses parts and shop is in a retro Streamliner). Also, he custom builds everything & has a great selection of unique, can’t find at your neighborhood Target, custom parts. He can do about anything, & even sell new and rebuilt bikes. If you’re a bike junkie(sorry he doesn’t sell fixies) of any kind: CHECKHIMOUT :)
