This is very good massage place! It’s very professional and clean! The manager and masseurs are very friendly! My masseur worked very strong! I like it! And she walked on my back, it really feels great! When I left, my pain was gone! Thanks everyone, I have a nice experience!

I have been a regular customer of this massage spa for a little more than 5 years. I go sometimes twice per week. Their people are kind, experienced, have good massage skills, and are very professional. Janelle, the owner of the spa, is always there and makes sure that everything is perfect for me when I come in.
Before I started coming to this place, I tried many others, and found that the level of care is better here. I also have found that being a frequent visitor, allows the staff to get to know me and understand what I like.
I’m not a big Unilocaler, but I wanted to take the time to let others know about something good. Treat yourself to a full body massage. Their rates are really affordable and I find 90 minutes to be most beneficial.
I’m a big guy, and you’d think these tiny ladies wouldn’t be strong enough… but rest assured, they certainly are and can get to the deep tissue if you need it!
It’s always a good idea to call ahead and schedule an appointment, especially if there is someone in particular that you want to work with. I find that communicating with the masseuse and letting them know what you need is always helpful for them so they can give you the best possible experience each time.

I went back again with a terrible headache from chronic shoulder tendinitis, and the therapist focused on my neck and shoulder with deep tissue for a complete hour, it was better relief than when I go to my physiotherapy: They have new additional therapist that are new,
I have tried before that are great with deep tissue and chronic pains.

I visit this place regularly for deep tissue massage. The manager Sara is very friendly and easy to talk to. This place is very clean and ideal for relaxing massage. Over time, I got deep tissue massages from Sara, Holly and Cici. All three of them knows what they are doing. They are very professional and always delivers relaxing/​refreshing massage.

Have been coming here for past 3 months. The two masseuse’s I have used where fantastic. They cured my sports aliments and maintained my continued efforts to keep working out with the help of their therapy. The location is always clean, professional, and welcoming whenever I show up. I highly recommend this place for whatever type of massage you are looking for.

Been here 2x’s now for tension relief. My wishes were fulfilled — 1x by Holly. The 2x by Wendy. Both x’s I was pressed for time (partial source of my tension, no doubt). Each were great! I had their 30m neck/​shoulder massage ($ 30). Price & walk-​in conscience is same as most nail spas but the plus is at Massage Essence, it is MUCH more relaxing. They gave me a quiet low lit room, had me lay on the massage table, face down & really worked on my knotted muscles. Yea! I’ll be back again!

My second time here because my first massage with Sara was great so I thought I found my new place to go to. So today I started off with Sara but half way into the session another woman (much older), Holly, came in to finish since I guess Sara had another appointment to get to!!! Come time to pay, I gave her a $ 100 bill for an $ 80 massage. She came back with a $ 20 bill as change so I had to find change in my wallet. I left a 10 singles since I wasn’t entirely happy of my massage and the whole therapist switch-​a-​roo thing. She started counting it out loud TWICE then looks at me and said «you have to pay 20% tip». What??? I asked her where does it say I «HAVE» to pay 20% tip and all she could say was «you suppose to give me 20% tip» and gave me a dirty look. She kept saying over and over «20% tip 20% tip» WTF. After me saying show me where it says it’s mandatory to pay that and I will, she said it’s ok so I threw her another $ 5. They just lost a customer and my referrals.

Not a bad deal for the price. Don’t expect to speak easily to the therapists as English is a second language. I was a bit scared walking up the stairs across from the McDonalds with air planes flying over from the nearby airport — but once inside, silence. A steady flow of customers support previous reviews — as for me? I’m an out of towner looking for a quick fix or my girlfriends neck pinch that developed on the drive up. Her pinch wasn’t resolved but she felt overall relaxed by the end. Careful with the pricing. We wanted just a shoulders and neck massage; through translation it appeared to just do the 60min for $ 52. As I was waiting I pulled aside the business card on the acrylic price display an there it was, 30min neck and shoulders for $ 30. No worries. On with our weekend we go.

So my only complaint about this place is that I didn’t know it was a Thai massage. I have never had a Thai massage before so I have to say when the masseuse got on the table with me and started using her arms and legs I was a little wierded out. That being said, I feel 10X better and she worked very hard to work out the kinks in my neck and back. I would definitely go back again.

I visit the Costa Mesa/​Irvine area often for work and to see friends, and one of my friends recommended this place for a massage.
When I went in, I have to say I was amazed at how warm and comfortable the decorations were, and I remember noticing I felt right at home.
The next thing I notices was how professional the staff was, and the massage I got for that price was as good as any massage I have gotten in recent years. I had a particular issue with my shoulder and neck from a car accident and I left feeling 1000% better. Not only that, but I continued experiencing relief of the pain for days later.
I plan to make an appointment here every time I am close by — it is worth the drive.

I stopped in bc of the special and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff and a clean environment. Judy was well skilled at deep tissue massage.

I got a flyer in the mail and decided to give it a shot. Holly gave me a great massage. Polite and professional staff. I’m looking forward to filling up the punch card. I’ll definitely go back.
