Omar always takes care of any one who he is helping at Varvatos. He has an eye on what looks best in you and not just sell you any thing like one else in sales.

Always worth visiting if you like edgy rock and roll influenced fashion. I have always found that the staff here are friendly and helpful without being overbearing. While they primarily carry the regular line here, the silver label, there are some items from the slightly cheaper Star line as well.
Very happy overall with what I have purchased.

JV now makes way better clothes than before. It’s not BAM in your face, being tacky; instead, they’re hanging out low-​key on the rack. Wearing the items on is when you’ll realize how understated the clothes really are. For casual to casual nice — these are the best! I’ve have gotten their garments in the past, but recently a lot more — presents me as looking nice without showing off. The best clothes should always make the man the look good, not flashing the clothes themselves. Service received is continuously very excellent. For clothes, shoes, and accessories, John Varvatos has become my favorite shop. ;)

I’ve been coming here for years and the service has always been excellent in the past. Called and spoke with someone on the phone who said he’d have my item ready and I arrived there within the hour. The associate was nowhere to be found the item was nowhere to be found and they refused to honor the coupon that I had been told they would honor over the phone. As a result they lost a sale of several items worth a couple hundred dollars.

I only gave this boutique 4 stars, as it seems the designs for the cost are getting a bit into the stratosphere, which is not this location’s fault, but the company as a whole. I really enjoy the hip rock and roll meets Saavy urban businessman look J.V. has always done well, but at my age its starting to get a little hard to justify such prices for a look I dont even know if I could pull off.
As for this location itself… for not being a flagship location, it still had a lot of stock (it seemed), and the Employees were very nice and gracious even though I wasn’t in love with any particular pieces this season. Always next season I suppose.
Industrial/​rock and roll vibes with class. Clean, professional, but not too stuffy. Just the way I like high end designer boutiques to be. Highly recommended for the younger generation who makes a decent amount of money and is not faint of heart to get dressed down, but get dressed well. A+

Still impressed with their level of customer service! Everyone had a really nice laid back yet professional attitude at this store.
I made no indication that I was interested in buying anything but received service like I am one of their top VIP’s. Walked in to browse walked out with a brand new suit. Thank you. You earned a customer for life.

just wanted to mention a recent experience i had with this store and in particular, Mr. Omar Taha.
i purchased a belt over 2 yrs ago. although awesome in every way, the threading began to fall apart prematurely. i just wore the belt as is bc honestly, i didn’t think the store would do anything for me since i’d had the belt for so long. but i decided to bring it in, anyway. well, Omar immediately helped me out, told me they would send the belt out to have it repaired, then mailed to my doorstep. how sweet is that?! i uploaded a photo of the belt and the accompanying note from Omar. thank you, again!
aside from the belt, jewelry, and sunglasses, i own two pairs of gorgeous boots from the designer and they are THE best fitting/​looking/​tailored shoes i have ever owned. can’t wait to add to the collection!

Steven Shears gave me great advice. Will be coming back for more. Spent 5 grand there last month. They have the best jackets in the world. Their jacket and suit fit Asians very well. Perfect match with Club Manaco.

The Real Gentlemen’s Clothing! Ultra High-​end, great quality, classy men’s clothing here. Love their stuff, staff were nice the time we went. They were very helpful.

What every man should wear. It’s not for Everyman but if every man would recognize that this is what a gentleman looks like… well the world would be better. Taste, class, service. I love this joint.

Varvatos and Boss… directly across from one another. It’s like a men’s clothing wet dream. I can be at Boss and gaze, longingly, at Varvatos… or vice versa. If clothes were a gender, I’d be all over this store, humping away. Love Varvatos. Great style. Simple. Classic. Extremely comfortable. Big, spacious store. Friendly staff that will make sure you’re taken care of, but won’t smother you to death like Nordstrom.

These guys carry the best shoes ever!!! Its truly a hidden secret that most folks are not aware of. There boots are sooooo comfortable and very stylish! The rest of the garb is very pricey and I am not sure you get what you pay for (consider Theory shirts, Hugo Boss Pants and Prada Jackets). The employees can be very helpful once you engage them… but that is the key… you need to engage them.

This place rocks! John Varvatos puts out tons of great pieces and the store is always well stocked. The clerks working in the store are very knowledgable and pleasant to work with.

Great clothes, but horrible salespeople. They ignore you, unless you are making a big purchase. I would buy varvatos stuff somewhere else.

This store is always vacant and for obvious reasons. The employees are jerks and rude. They are pretentious and have clearly forgotten that they work retail. I recommend buying John Varvatos at Nordstroms, Bloomingdales, or online. I would avoid this store at all costs.

I don’t spend a lot of money on clothes. But when I do, I want things that will last. John Varvatos is one of my favorite stores for two reasons:
1. You can always find something that you’re after.
2. These guys make sure you are taken care of.

Looking for Suits can be a daunting experience for many guys. Going to department stores. You have to deal with sales people that are one level above a used car salesman.
After going to Macy’s, Nordstorms, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bloomingdales. I finally stumbled to John Varvatos. Being that my budget was $ 800. I knew that finding me a suit in that price range was going to be a long shot!
Going through the rack of suits. I found a gray suit I had in mind. The color was perfect. The material was perfect. The cut was perfect. The price was SO NOT perfect. $ 1600. Yea. That’s right. One-​Freaking Thousand, Six-​Ridiculous Hundred Dollars. Right when I was putting down the suit a chirpy sales person asked if I wanted to try it on. In my head I was playing it cool. so I tried. it. Damn. That’s how a $ 1600 suit feels.
Now at this point. I would tell the sales person that I wasn’t interested. But he muttered the words… Private Sale. My eyes widened opened and I nonchalantly asked how much…40% OFF!
My sales person Steve made buying a suit a pleasure more than pain. He was a very knowledgeable and friendliest sales person! Long story short. I walked out $ 1000 less richer. But putting on that suit made me feel like a billion-​mazillion bucks!

I found out about John Varvatos when they came out with the Jack Purcells and Chucks that were slip ons… they were in the hundred dollar range but infinitely more comfortable than the regular chucks or jacks.
When I started looking for suits, several people told me that I should go for either Hugo Boss or John Varvatos because they would fit me the best… I just never looked too much at JV because their suits were ridiculously expensive. ($ 1800)… but i came there the other week and they were having a huge sale (since their fall stuff is coming soon) and the suits were 70% off… pretty sweet.
The salesman was extremely helpful and gave good advice on fit and other things. Even gave us some bottles of Fiji water.
They don’t have an in house tailor but they called one over — after fifteen minutes she came, took my measurements and I got my perfectly fitting suit in four days. Very pleased by the experience and especially the quality.

I’ve been a fan of Varvatos’ Clothing for years. It is nice to see clothing void of silly logos thrown all over the place – always hated anything of the sort. Varvatos has a way of blending the best of the modern world with a hint of vintage swagger – which I appreciate.
Also – at 6’4″ – I want to look like a man and not a princess. Varvatos knows what I’m talking about.

John Varvatos is an American designer, that knows that American men are tall, muscular and like wearing clothes that remind them of Robert DeNiro in the Godfather Part II not Robert DeNiro in Goodfellas. That’s why I like his clothes.
