Keeping this very short and simple because I’m still trying to catch my breath from my shopping experience yesterday. 1st — Make sure you measure the area that you’re planning on furnishing, they have so much inventory & selections that you’ll be overwhelmed. 2nd — wear comfortable shoe’s because this place is MASSIVE /GIGANTIC /HUGE /EXHAUSTING ! 3rd — Grab a cart. Even if you think you won’t need it… you’ll need one! 4– Grab a pencil & slip of paper they offer for you to be able to write down the information of your selection. 5– Bring a beverage to keep your energy up/hydrated, again because this place is MASSIVE! 6– Have patience because this place is divided into certain departments and your potential purchase maybe at the very end of the maze. 7– The employees are very helpful so if one is not in the department, go hunt one down for assistance. 8– You’re going to find what ever your looking for. From drinking glasses to a closet for your bedroom. 9– When I mean they have anything & everything, I totally mean it at a very low price.

My best friend and I are on this«let’s remodel our rooms» kick, and she needed a black shelf so I said she could find one at IKEA and she said SHE’S NEVERBEENTOIKEA! What in the world? lol so of course, I said she had to go. We found so many treasures hahah. I got a bunch of stuff I didn’t know I needed until it was in front of me(oop$) but we made it out of there under $ 80. Score! The one really annoying thing about IKEA is that unless you know your way around, you’re forced to go through the maze and you can’t get to the elevator unless you go through/around the entiiiiiire building. But basically, as soon as you walk off the escalator, make a left instead of following the path and there’s an elevator right around the corner that will take you downstairs where all the stuff actually is. :)

Who doesn’t love going to Ikea?! All of the furniture that I have owned comes from here. Okay of course they are not meant to be moved around a lot and they may break, but you get what you pay for. It is very affordable furniture :) I love coming to Ikea, sometimes to even just take a long stroll and look around. It is very smart how they structured everything, so you kind of have to go through all of the store. I love their little showcases, and would love my room to look like one of theirs. Once you look through all the showcases, you go downstairs, where there are carts for you to actually get the stuff that you have seen upstairs. The workers here have always been extra nice and helpful when I have asked them questions about where things were :) My favorite part: After you pay, there is an area where they sell cinnamon rolls, hot dogs, ICECREAM! I love the ice cream. They also have a candy bar with assorted Swedish gummy candies and chocolates. Definitely worth a try, although some of them tasted funny :)
