Heritage Mercantile is basically what people think of when they are asked to describe their ‘happy place’
Not only do they offer some really great items for your home, jewelry & beauty, kids & dogs, art & literature, Heritage Mercantile also offers workshops to teach you how to make your own cool things too.
Yes, I am a fan of this establishment and their products, but I’m an even bigger fan of honest and genuine customer service, and you’ll find all of the above at Heritage Mercantile.

Ok, best home store in California. And I’ve been to a lot. Broome St and Max & Moritz in LA. Scout and Geographie in San Diego. Sophisticated to say the least. They have breadboards, linen napkins, towels, jewelry, kids toys, clothing, shoes, paper goods, candles. All Rough Luxe and the best of the best. This owner gets it so thoroughly. I think it was an old sheep dairy. The little complex the store in is very old and so so charming. I could spend hours here but they would probably think I was a weirdo and kick me out! Love, love, love this place. My new go-​to for everything! Plus Sidecar Donuts is across the street!

I went into the store today for the first time. It’s such a lovely place! I’ve passed it many times and never have been in. I’m so glad I did today! I called last week to ask about a specific item and was told the shoe could be ordered and ready in 2 days. Today the lady there (I’m assuming the owner) helped me. She was very nice and helpful. My one year old made herself right at home in the adorable tent that’s set up there. If you’re looking for a special gift for yourself or someone this is the place! The store offers baby items (soft and adorable clothing), home décor, jewelry (hand made in Laguna Beach), shoes, and kitchen items. I’ll definitely be going back soon!

Gorgeous, lovely little boutique. Lost of great items to pick up for yourself or for gifts. things that you don’t see everywhere else. There were some bags, soaps, lotions, adorable little baby booties, books, kitchen items, textiles etc, all merchandised beautifully.
If I ever own my own boutique, this is what I would strive to achieve. It’s a little sad that it is located in a not so much trafficked area. If Heritage were across the street in the center with Starbucks and Mi Casa, this place would be hopping!

I was blown away by the beautifully curated, unique items, each with a story behind them. Handmade jewelry, gorgeous linens, gourmet foodstuffs, beautiful shoes and more. Jennifer Bloch, the shop owner, is highly knowledgeable and a delight! And art by husband Wolfgang Bloch is not to be missed. Nothing mass-​produced here. Artisan paradise!
