Harmony Wellness Center

Years ago when I lived in Hermosa Beach there was a small yoga studio I would walk to once a week. I didn’t realize how much I had been enjoying and benefiting from the class until the place closed unexpectedly. I felt lost. I tried beach yoga, yoga in the park, yogaworks, yoga at my gym but none of them felt quite right.
Recently I found myself at my doctor’s office because I was feeling off kilter & she recommended that I incorporate Yoga into my life. Just hearing that made me realize I haven’t felt «right» since I stopped doing Yoga. It was time to bring Yoga back. It was kismet that led me to Harmony Wellness Center via Unilocal.It sounded like a small yoga studio like my old Hermosa Beach spot. I sent the business an e-​mail and someone responded back right away and I could tell from the casual friendly tone of the email exchanges that this wasn’t going to be an impersonal big box Yoga studio experience.
I am SO GLAD I found this place! My first day I tried a Fusion Fitness class & followed with a Yoga class. Lyndsey (owner/​instructor) and her students are very welcoming. We were chatting and laughing throughout the Fusion Fitness class & the music is awesome which all really helped distract me from all the killer little movements (like in Bar Method) The Yoga class right after was a good way to stretch out my body. I like that they also offer massages and other services.
Coming here feels like going to Happy Hour with girlfriends except instead of sitting on your ass and consuming calories you’re working on your ass and burning calories instead.

Love Harmony HB! The instructors are all so wonderful, and the studio is spotlessly clean! All needed props are provided, and the front space is beautifully decorated with jewelry and other unique gift items. A must for any yoga enthusiast looking for a calming place to practice and find their center!

Fusion classes are amazing! Classes are kept small, at most 10 people, so you get the attention of a private training session for a fraction of the cost. Lyndsey is always making sure you are doing things correctly and encouraging you to keep up the good work. If you tell her about any issues you have she will be sure to adjust the workout for you so that you don’t hurt anything.
The reason I fell in love with yoga! I was really nervous to try yoga but after my first class I was hooked. I didn’t feel dumb for not knowing the poses and felt so good after every class.
Massages — If you can get in with Kelly, she is awesome!
My current schedule has kept me from coming in to Harmony Wellness and I miss it. The entire staff is wonderful, friendly, and makes you feel like part of the family. Lyndsey still checks in with me to see how I am doing, even though I haven’t been able to come to classes in months. She is a true gem and they have created an amazing space.

Hope Long gave my daughter her first facial. She did an excellent job! She went above and beyond her obligation to honor a gift certificate we used. Thank you Hope for going the extra mile and really helping out my daughter with her facial needs.

I had the honor and pleasure of knowing Kelly (the owner) and her daughter Lyndsey for a few years now at Harmony. They are such giving and amazing people that start out the business. Friendly staffs that are very knowledgeable of their respective fields. They are all about thriving on positive energy, balance, and self-​care. Hence the services they provide is a mixture of:

*therapeutic massage

*nutrition/​detoxification
*body balancing treatments
Kelly is extremely knowledgeable of the body, muscles, and physiology. She does great body work and get the «kinks» out of those tight knots. Makes good recommendations on what you can do on your own to help alleviate the pain, the knots, or in reference to injuries. Kelly and her staffs truly care for what’s the best intention and care for your wellness.
So please stop by and try their service… whether it’s physical therapy, therapeutic massage, facials… you will have an effective and relaxing experience. =)

This place is amazing. It literally has everything you could ever ask for. I have gotten a few massages, two spray tans and one waxing session.
If you are going to get a massage you need to request Kelly (the owner) cuz she is absolutely amazing and knows so much about the body so if you have any injuries she can really focus on helping you with it.
The spray tan is awesome because it is all natural stuff (not exactly sure what’s in it but it’s great) and it always looks natural so you never look orange. The same lady that does the spray tan also does the waxing and she did an amazing job at both.
They also offer yoga and strengthening classes that I am looking forward to try out, and I’ve heard their facials are also great. So it looks like they will be seeing me a lot very soon!

Lyndsey and the crew at Harmony Wellness are the best! You feel like you are family there. Lyndsey will give you a great workout… If you are looking for a place you can workout, get a facial and a massage all in the same place Harmony is the place to go! .
The group classes are great because there is never more than 8 ppl there. She makes sure you are doing things correctly to get the results you want…
