We come her quite a bit and like the place until a huge cockroach ran across my foot tonight. The staff didn’t seem to be phased by it which was more concerning. I was expecting the manager to come over but it didn’t happen.

This is a great place for happy hour! The artichoke is incredible and the drinks are great. Do yourself a favor and order the Goomba pizza… You will not regret it! The staff is warm and gives you your space while giving great service. This is the SPOT!

Great environment with an awesome happy hour! Their Goomba pizza is ridiculous, fredo fries are a must and you can’t go wrong with the bruschetta. They have a pretty good wine list, a few beers on tap and a full bar! Over all a great place to grab food or a drink and then check out the other shops in the Camp.

I came here with my gf on valentines day. It had a nice but casual environment. The lights were dimmed down and candles were at every table but they played loud music which made it easy to talk. We ordered the burrata with pears, prosciutto, and arugula which was amazing! Highly recommend as a starter. For our main course we got the rigatoni and the Guido pizza. Both were very delicious. Service was actually pretty good despite what others have said in their reviews. Will come here again!

Amazing Valentine’s Day/Anniversary. The service was just amazing and quick. I ordered a salad with salmon and a mango mule. I give my salad a 10⁄10 due to the freshness and the flavor of my salmon it was he most delicious salmon I’ve had at a restaurant. I also give a 10⁄10 to my mango mile which has was pretty strong but tasted delicious. Every time I come here our service is incredible and the food is always delicious. I recommend this place for friends, dates and for family gatherings. It’s unfortunate others haven’t had the best experiences here but I’m sure you can see for yourself if it’s your first time or give this place anther go if you have already been here. Xoxo

Amazing pizza, the chopped salad was unreal, I usually don’t love those and it was so good! They knew we were in a hurry and they got us in and out! Thanks!

3 stars because they took away their shrimp pizza :(I had visited back in April and ordered their shrimp pizza which was DELICIOUS. I visited again a few days ago only to learn that they no longer serve that dish. So, I decided to order the chicken pizza. It was waaaay too greasy for me. I picked up my first slice and a ton of oil began to drip from the sides. I had to ask for a napkin to dab some of it off and even then it was very excessive. I only managed to eat a slice and a half before I felt like I was pouring oil down my throat.

Honestly love the place. If you’re looking for great atmosphere and cocktails then this is your spot. The Kentucky Punch is solid!

I rated this place 3 stars. The Positive– * It has a pretty rustic theme inside * the waitress was very nice * The Negative– the food and drinks were 2⁄5. It was nothing special to rave about. Last but not least, the venue was so loud you could barely hear anyone talk.

I was at The Camp and was wandering through the restaurants trying to find something new and good. I walked up to this place and decided to give it a try because it was packed! I have to say the vibe seemed cool and the décor was super cute. The service however absolutely SUCKED! Our waitress was MIA pretty much the entire experience, and really blew my mind at the end of dinner when she tried to make up for it by saying she was so busy she basically«makes up for it with TOO much service!» The food was alright, we had a pasta dish and a salmon dish. It wasn’t bad, but this experience really wasn’t anything worth raving about. Definitely wouldn’t want to give this place a second try based on the service alone.

Disappointing… seafood was great until we got the clams… they where so old it was like chewing rubber tire Any restaurant or chef that serves food that way is a disgrace Service was good… however…he poured the wine once and never came back… if I am paying a 3 time mark up for wine. service should include making sure wine glass is not empty… needless to say it was another OC pack of millennial wanna be ‘s …it was a dud… Don’t waste your money

Pizza and drinks at the Camp! We were lucky to find descent parking which is usually a miss in the area, best is to go early. We came here for drinks, but did share two pizzas as well and they were pretty darn good! Small for the price, but great quality, I loved both the sauce and crust of the margarita I tried, cheese was a bit lacking. Drinks and atmosphere are great, as was the service. They have a great menu, several things I would want to come back to try, but for now the drinks and pizza are worth stopping in for already!

Stopped in for a late night dinner. After finding a parking spot, which was a little difficult, we were seated promptly at this cute place. I ordered the Fig and Gorgonzola bruschetta and a side order of Mac N’ Cheese, they were both delicious. This was plenty of food for dinner and leftovers. My friends ordered the Rigatoni and the Ricotta Gnocchi Housemade, which they all thought were great and reasonably priced.

This place was great! We went on a Thursday night for date night and got seated right away. The ambiance is great for dates. Dim lights, nice vibe, young people, walls of alcohol, etc. The service was great. We had a Pinot Grigio and Merlot(yum), chopped salad(YUM) and Goomba pizza(YUMMM!!!). The total was about $ 60 and definitely worth it. The reason I removed a star is because it’s SUPER loud. My throat literally hurt from yelling over everyone all night. Also, they kept dimming the lights and turning on the lights randomly throughout the night… which was distracting and unflattering. My last bit of constructive criticism… turn the TVs off at dinner hour. It didn’t seem like the place to have football games playing in the background. I get it for lunchtime, but it felt weird at dinner. Other than that, I’ll totally be back and can’t wait!

This place is my go to for after work drinks and eats. Atmosphere is great and if you can grab a bar seat, take it. Michelle is the best! Super friendly, down to earth, and excellent service. You never have to flag her down for a drink or food, she is on point and always attentive and checking in… Even when she is serving tables. She is now only working 3 days a week which is a bummer now(The reason for the 4 stars)??? She brings in regulars and makes new patrons become regulars! That should be a no brainer! I have never had bad service here and my company has even had our team lunches and happy hours here. Great menu and great specials and happy hours! The drinks are always on point! I dig this place a lot!

What an awesome place! I have only been to CAMP a few times but I was presently surprised with the service at ECCO. We had a large party for brunch, and I know that can be a big hassle sometimes. But the server made it seem effortless and was always available when we needed him. In regards to brunch: they have everything from traditional breakfast items, all the way to their breakfast pizzas. Everything that came out from the kitchen looked great. I wish I had tried the skillet that they offer, that looked like the best breakfast option by far. They do offer bottomless mimosas as well! The overall atmosphere was nice– I loved that the place itself is tucked away in a corner. We were able to sit outside which was nice, but I would like to come back here at night– it seems like it would offer an intimate setting and the bar looks like a great place to hang.

Some places are just not that great, and yet, you find yourself contemplating(maybe hoping) it would get better over time. I think it’s been four years since I’ve returned to Ecco and I thought it was«just okay» at that time. This visit was one of those, I happen to be in the area and my first option was busy so I ended up here. *Sigh* I came in with a group of 4 and was seated promptly. I really didn’t need to make that reservation. Service was quick with arrival of menus and drinks after the orders were placed. I wasn’t very hungry, so I ordered a bunch of starters for myself. Three starters ALL to myself! I guess I was somewhat hungry or I was just eating with my eyes. Typical. Burrata with spinach, pears, crostini and some kind of cured meat, which the menu states as prosciutto. The meat was tough, tasted like ham and didn’t have that cured texture. It really overwhelmed the lightness of the burrata, which was so perfect I didn’t want to pair it with anything, but the pear slices were a nice touch! Beer steamed mussels and clams with Anaheim red ale. Really nice flavor, spicy and the shellfish was cooked quite nicely. A couple pieces were on the fishy side, but everything else was pretty good. The wood roasted oysters come with three oysters with a crunchy breaded crust. They are pretty large, but the larger the oyster, the more briny the flavors will be. Meaning, the toppings were heavy in flavor with cheese(grana padano) and chili flakes. I can handle spicy, but when a flake hits the back of the throat, it was time to call it an evening. My friends had the manicotti and exclaimed it was really salty. Yikes! Service was good at the beginning, but we were rarely checked on and one of the salads was the last thing to come out. Kinda on the slow side for a Friday evening, but it seemed like a slow night in general. Personally, I’d probably only return for the burrata and drinks. The steamed shellfish and the wood grilled variation had the same flavor profiles, so it’s best to choose one or the other. The Peruvian punch was really yums and would like to return for happy hour to imbibe on their creations.

This place is definitely pretty solid if you can find parking in the atrocious parking nightmare that is The Camp. Ecco Pizzeria is located in the very back corner of The Camp next to the wine bar restaurant. My coworkers and I came here on a Friday for lunch and it was pretty good. I would definitely consider coming back here for a happy hour or a date, as the ambiance is nice, servers are good, and it’s not too loud or too quiet. There’s a bar in the front and also plenty of spacing both inside and outside(with heat lamps). There are some great lunch specials and I had the pizza/salad combination that actually took me the entire day to finish because the portion was huge. I ordered the chopped salad with a chicken tomato pizza and it was delicious. My coworkers ordered a salmon salad and pasta which also looked and tasted amazing. Our sever was also great and we were all happy with our meal. As for pricing, I would say it’s a little above average for a lunch but for the food taste and service it was worth it and I’d definitely consider returning.

Once again, I really wish their were half stars, but as there is not… I was pretty excited to try Ecco. I’m a big fan of The Camp, in general, but the meal I had last night was really disappointing. Starters: Spicy bacon and marmalade bruschetta: 5 stars! So delicious! Spot on! Arugula salad: 2 stars. Have made better salads at home Entrees: Diavola pizza: 1 star. Soggy crust, spice overwhelmed entire pie, chunks of peppers gave the calabrese a bland/average taste. Pomodoro pasta: 2 stars. Meat was nicely cooked, but the dish lacked flavors. Simple doesn’t mean tasteless… Dessert: This is basically the reason we came. Zeppoles: 3 stars. Four zeppoles served with a dark chocolate sauce and a dollop of whip cream. A light crunch on the outiside and moist inside. They were cooked nicely, but not the best zeppoles I have ever had. Also, the chocolate sauce wasn’t sweet enough for my taste. Whip cream was quite nice as it was made in house. While I wasn’t a fan of the food, the rustic ambiance of the dining room and bar created a warm, inviting atmosphere, especially for a rainy winter night. Our wait staff was friendly as well. If only the food had been as quality as home cooking, it might have felt as cozy as a night in.

Happy hour was a great deal! Regular menu is pricey. We came here for HH before a show at the Segerstrom, seated at the bar and orders from our bartender. There was a pretty good selection of drinks and appetizer and flatbread items on the HH menu. Our bartender was fast, efficient and put in our order very quickly since we were limited on time. Our food came out pretty fast. The food was pretty good in tasty but slightly lacking in presentation. We ordered a salad and a flatbread on the HH menu and a bruschetta from the regular menu which was very pricey. The restaurant was very busy on a weeknight but it was the holidays so people were probably not working. The bathrooms were pretty clean. But parking at the Camp is an absolute nightmare every single time! We had to stalk people that were leaving to secure a spot.
