Don’t come here, very very dirty and TONS OF SPIDERS !!! Bathroom filthy !!! And lady in the front desk got on my nerves !!! Very rude !!!

From moment of check in I felt secure! As off the track hotels never know! Fair price and I had a similar type but chain hotel next door same price!
But I went with support small local business!
Clean room! Big bath and bed!
Fantastic food next door!

Started off not too bad, room was ok, the remote they gave us at check in didnt work because the tv was missing the piece that it needed. But it was ok. But today, being a sunday near the beach we had my boyfriends brother come down so we could go have lunch at the beach, he came in our room for not even 5 minutes as i finished my makeup and there was a knock at our door. The lady from the front was there and before my boyfriend even had the door open she was screaming «you have guest, you cant have guest! Your phone is broken you pay for it!» my boyfriend tryed explianing who our guest was and why he was here but she just kept yelling that we were lying and he was there all night and we where going to have to pay $ 5 a night because we had him there. Now we hadnt had anyone since we got there so we had no idea why she was yelling at us. So We showed her that the phone was plugged in and we hadnt messed with to which she responed «your lying i have him on camera, leave! Either pay $ 5 extra for him being here all week and for the phone or leave now!» so we packed our stuff and went to the office so she could show us on the camera that she had proof and she told us the camera didnt matter anymore to which i asumed to mean she knew she was wrong. She had Horrible personable skills and because of her crappy attitude we will not ever be staying here again

Absolutely the biggest POS possible! The place is filthy & the owners aren’t just rude, they’re NASTY! We went there for a few hours to do a photo shoot. Bought the room for overnight (were only there a few hours) then they charged $ 5 for each person in our group (4 of us) The owner came over and was literally screaming at us that we were already there too long. The person who said they would rather stay under a bridge – right on! I’m right there with you! Gross

Such an awful place. Paid 320 for 7 days then called in the morning on the 7^th day to inform them I was checking out late. They told me I had to pay for another day. I said fine.
After arriving at my room it was locked and I couldn’t get in. The shady business owner was standing nearby just to let me in. First of all, locking a tenant out of an apartment or hotel is illegal. What made me more angry was the thousands of dollars of electronic equipment that was mine that he had locked in.
I grabbed my stuff and stormed out refusing to pay. Also the electrical sockets are all faulty and are fire hazards. Leaky plumbing and unsanitary conditions as well. I’d give them zero stars if that was an option. For the value it’s not worth it! What value?

Ghetto place nasty and stinky and the service is awful.

Worst. Place. On. Earth.
My Friend Sergio Silvestre and I were visiting Costa Mesa, and were on a budget. A very tight budget. Think… Fat man in a little coat, tight. The Ali Baba Motel is perfect fit for a situation like that.
However, when we got there, they gave us the key, we went to our room, and the key didn’t work. Awesome. I took the key back to the reception area, and rang the bell. Both owners came back out (it was quite late), and I explained the situation. They then proceeded to scream at each other for a good 2 minutes before getting another key and taking me back to the room to try themselves. After the owner jiggled the key for another 30 seconds, we were in.
What a dump. It looked like a scene out of a movie. Cliché posters on the wall, disgusting beds, and dirty floors… but it was cheap :) … and that’s what we were looking for.

I’m trying to help a friend buy paying for an extra night but they’re being very difficult to work with. I’m sure it’s just the employee (s) working today.

It’s time to bulldoze this place down and build condos. Bad for Costa Mesa if you ask me.

If it’s pouring rain, hailing snow, there are incoming tornadoes, and molten lava is heading your way: I would say sleep outside instead of this place.
All you need to do is drive by or call them and you will get my drift…

I adore your peeling golden dome of Aladdin-​y goodness as I drive down the 55 S.
The crazy pictures on your walls (like a piano mounted on a glass stairway in a lake under a rainbow) brought joy to my life.
The number of people who should have never had drunken sexy times under your green and pink flowered bedspreads still astounds me.
This was our party place in high school. Even the name still brings a laugh and a regretful sigh from any of my friends when it is mentioned. For something like $ 80 plus $ 5-​$ 10 if we got noise complaints, a three bed/​two bedroom abode complete with a kitchen (table to act as a bar, sink to hydrate drunks– not that we trusted the water, microwave to heat up our easy mac or cold del taco), a closet to make out in, two couches, a bathroom (that never locked), an abundance of parking spaces, and a balcony to smoke on, it was practically perfect.
The number of times I lied to my parents then ended up here are plentiful… Laugh. Sigh.
For a lovers getaway or a vacation to California, I would not recommend this Motel. But for the kind of party you will wish you could forget the next day, or maybe you already have, this is your shiny golden dome of paradise…
