This place rocks! Or as they say in Chinese 这个地方非常棒！Truly, Kevin, Mike, and Roberto are fantastic. I’ll say up front that they weren’t able to fix me perfectly, but… they did work tirelessly over many months to find a solution (dry needling) that does indeed reduce my symptoms tremendously. I honestly think the best part of the treatment is their amazingly fun, funny, and upbeat personalities. Laughter indeed is the best medicine and I got many doses of it there, joking back and forth with them all the time, which was crucial during the months when I felt like I’d never improve at all. Honestly, I always looked forward to going there because I knew I’d laugh and feel great afterwards. Best therapy ever – mental therapy that is haha! Warning: if you go in November you may be forced to suffer the Movember mustache sported by Mike. Be prepared. :D In any case, I’d recommend this place highly. I also note that I don’t have insurance and the team worked with me graciously to help ensure I received the treatment I needed without fear of going into debt. Will I go back again? Absolutely. In fact, I return every few months for more dry needling because it’s the only treatment that provides any relief and very few places offer it. I’m grateful to Kevin and Mike for bringing that relief to me when no doctors could. Hey Kevin: I’m wearing the ink stained pants just for you. Francis: Have fun teaching! Glad I inspired you! I’ve been to many PT places as a result of multiple knee surgeries and the people at Performance have stood out to me as being incredibly professional and knowledgeable. PT can be extremely redundant and boring but kevin Cota works hard to keep patients engaged and working hard. Every workout has been tailored to my specific needs and the atmosphere always lifts my spirits. Bravo to Performance PT for helping this former Olympian come back to form.

I must admit that I normally do not take the time to write a review however, I had such a great experience at Performance Physical Therapy in Cos Cob that I had to!!! I have been to several different PT places in the area between my children and myself and the quality, care and most of all knowledge that I received at Performance could not even compare!!! On my first visit Michael took over an hour evaluating my pain and explained what was the cause of it and how we would go about fixing it. He did not speak in terms that I would not understand, was very patient and made sure I knew exactly what he was talking about. The weeks that followed were just as good. Scheduling was not an issue at all as they have hours to fit anyone’s needs and I was sent emails with exercise videos to help me do my at home work. I would and have recommended Performance Physical Therapy to everyone! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Awesome place! Staff was caring, knowledgeable and very attentive. I suffered from hip pain ever since 2013 and experienced several pt practices over the years. Recently diagnosed with a Labral tear and fai in my right hip. Kevin has taken good care of me and thanks to his experience, hard work and dedication, I have gained a lot of strength and several degrees of ROM. Thanks for all!

I don’t have a basis to evaluate properly on the treatment aspect of this business as I never got that far. Unfortunately, I was told that they accept my insurance and after spending much time with them providing my details and going through effort of driving out to them, i find out that they are out of network for United Health Care which means that it would be hundreds of dollars of expenses for me to use this establishment for physical therapy. I feel it’s their prerogative to not accept any insurance they chose, but they should be much clearer about it so as to not waste the time of their customers. They did offer a reduced rate to me but that would amount to hundreds of dollars out of pocket which is the sad reality of medical insurance these days. I’m dissatisfied with the way this establishment conducted themselves as i clearly asked the right question and was told incorrect information. Place seems like a factory of multiple locations and insurance being handled from a central office somewhere outside of the local establishment and questions around accountability when a place becomes a business of multiple establishments. I mentioned to the insurance handler that they can expect negative feedback from me based on my experience and she was fine with it and hence my accurate post describing my experience. I would never use them again.
