I was recently shocked to find out how poorly this company treats its long time repeat customers. Over the last deacde, my family has spent nearly $ 10k framing art for our home and for gifts. No more. Not here. I have always paid ½ up front and ½ upon pick up. Yet, when I returned to claim my framing this time, I was informed that the store had made an error and the total bill had increased by 35% from roughly $ 1,000 to nearly $ 1,500. I had been telephoned 3x in 24 hours by the owner, reminding me that my framing was ready to be picked up. Not once, in any of those telephone conversations, did he raise the change in price. He left that to the employee behind the counter. I was given no choice. I also run a small business and do understand that employees make errors. When they do, our firm owns up to it immediately and the customer NEVER pays for our errors. Our average price point dwarfs that of Creative Framing, so mistakes are quite costly. As for the«honesty, integrity and loads of creativity» that Creative Framing advertises on their web site, I guess one out of of three is about par for the course!
