Awesome local store, my wife loves this place. Good vibes here, wonderful owner who obviously cares about local and quality. They sell women’s clothes and jewelry, some other things. Go check it out!

The best thing about this place would be the jewelry and scarves/​accessories. But it is where the fashions of the clothes and the prices that keep me uninterested and appalled. No wonder she always has sale signs in her window, no one wants to pay her prices and I’m sure her creditors and vendors need owed money so she has to take a loss.
Much of the clothing has absolutely no shape or tailoring to it. With that I am sure has a lot to do with it being not only of interest to the crunchy set and Oregon country fair followers. Need a frumpy broomstick dress? This is the place for you, and believe me you’ll pay out the ass for it when the owner probably paid 10.00 before her mark up. I’ve never seen so much clothing with no shape being passed off as fashionable. Honestly the greedy owner sets her prices too high, which is the reason why I believe she’s always having a sale.
The jewelry selection, especially the rings and bracelets are beautiful but also overpriced. Next door at Northern Star she’s undersold in every aspect and you’re not being followed around by paranoid clerks.
With the selection of clothing very limited in Corvallis, this shop has the ability to offset all of the mainstream clothing being sold that is mass produced yet still remain stylish, but for several decades Ruby has been pushing the same style, the same clothing and the same overpriced inventory.
I’m sure she has something here you saw in 1987 that hasn’t sold and she’s just upped the price because it is now considered vintage.
Don’t waste your time or money here.

A great local store with a fun selection of clothing and accessories. Any purchase is sure to get you a compliment from your girlfriends at the very least.
Some things are a little pricey, but that comment comes from someone who normally shops for clothes at Mervyn’s and Target. I ended up buying two dresses, a skirt, and a corset for around $ 200 total, but it was worth it 100%. The ladies who work there are super nice and very helpful to customers, preparing fitting rooms without having to even be asked. They also wear the merchandise themselves and can give recommendations on what the most popular items are.
I intend to return to this store every time I am in Corvallis!
