On a follow-up note: it’s now been a month and not a single person has contacted me from Shonnard’s regarding this ridiculous little plant saucer that was supposed to be ordered. Seems like the female employee gave me a huge run-around and wasted my time… which only confirms what I posted earlier about partnering with a more competent nursery here in town.

Shonnard’s is a nice place to visit any old time because the variety of plants and lovely floral smells are always a feast for the senses. But how often does one get a knowledgeable house call for just a handshake? Today, Matt their very nice plant guy came by and walked through our yard giving advice on pruning and maintenance and then thanked me for letting him come by. Since he wouldn’t accept any payment, we’ll be sure to get the Coral Bark Maple Tree he suggested from Shonnard’s.
