Horrible customer service I experienced today. I order a super wet burrito with alpastor. The order never came to my table, I was with my boss and another coworker, they got there order and finished there food and I still hadn’t received my food. I stood up and asked where my food was at they said it would be a min. By that time I saw about 7 order go out. They finally brought my burrito out and it wasn’t even right. I took back to the counter and showed it to the girl. I asked for my money and tip back. She told me you want your tip back(lol) I couldn’t believe what I had just heard. The total amount I paid at the register was $ 14.25. I asked for the refund and she only gave me the amount for the burrito, I told her what about the entry amount and she said no because I had finished my drink. I’m so displeased with the way they handle this situation. They lost my business and my boss business and my family’s business.

Pretty great tasting salsas/hot sauce. Love their chips, dips, and tortas! Lengua is delicious. Will be back to try more of the menu. Only thing, wish there were more seafood items.

Best burritos in town. This place is the bomb dot com. Come for lunch, and order any size burrito. Even the vegetarian burrito is incredible. Maybe the other dishes aren’t that great, but I wouldn’t know, as I’ve never had any reason to deviate from the heavenly burrito menu.

Very mediocre as far as the food goes. I had a chicken burrito and it didn’t taste fresh. will not be back

Best burrito you’ll find in Corvallis that’s for sure. Unless for some godforsaken reason you prefer tex-mex places. Feel free to head to Qdoba or Chipotle(not that they aren’t good, they’re just not Mexican food). Things that I loved:(1) They had lengua!(2) They had good, house made red sauce!(3) They used real tortillas that tasted fresh/moist!(4) No goddamn queso to be found!

I’ve eaten here a handful of times and sampled several items from the menu. I really wanted to give this place a chance, but sadly I’ve come away unimpressed on multiple occasions. Several times I’ve tried the combo plates and found the beans to be so salty that I couldn’t finish them. The sauces have been a bit strong, tasting like they came from a jar rather than fresh and the salsa, though good in flavor, was very thin. About half the time, I’ve gotten a burrito that had great flavor and the other half it has been very bland and a couple of times that I’ve had a chicken dish the bits of bone and gristle were a definite turn off.

Practically the only mostly authentic Mexican restaurant me and my fiancé have eaten at in Oregon. Great flavor in their meats and rice put into their burritos. Cannot attest to anything besides their burritos because that’s all we have eaten so far, but so far, so good! I highly recommend this place to all other native Southern Californians hungry for a taste of home!

I love their tacos! The burritos are OK, but the tacos are definitely my favorite… especially the carnitas taco. Yummy. They have a few outdoor tables to sit at during the warmer months, which is a nice bonus. Lounging outside with sunshine, Ninkasi beers, and tacos… makes me a happy gal.

Even after that pinner burrito I complained about, I still keep coming back. Mostly for the specials and the pastor hawg. Ninkasi on tap at a mexican joint is a really nice touch too.

I like going here because: 1: it is delicious more often than not. I did get cold Enchiladas Verde, but only once. 2: The prices are crazy afordable, $ 4 for«cheese» nachos that include EVERYTHING but meat. 3: the service is really quick and friendly. Now that I think about it, I’m hungry!

This is a favorite of mine, and to those who’ve had less than stellar food, there is a trick to ordering. Tell the person up front very specifically how you want it prepared! I always ask for extra crispy fried pork and they deliver every time. Get a super burrito, a glass of horchata and believe me, you will be bulking up for football tryouts in no time, this food makes you instantly viable for the front line of the Beavers(Mike Riley needs you!) So eat at La Rockita, and support the team!

Normally, I’m the biggest fan of La Roca(Rockita), but not this one. I’ve been going to the ones on 9th, Kings, and out in Newport, and I love their food, but I’ve had problems with this restaurant. My most recent trip gave me food poisoning. Up most of the night… I would recommend trying the one on 9th street if any because the food is often better.

La Rockita, formerly known as La Roqa — where to even begin with this place. Price: First off, the prices aren’t THAT bad — $ 5.75 for a medium burrito is a little bit more than I would like to pay, but sometimes it pays off. Drinks however, are a little bit spendy — watch out and be prepared to pay a little bit extra Service: Excellent — never a bad experience with the staff Quality: It’s pretty hit or miss — half the time you get the burritos and they’re out of the ballpark… and the other half you get the burrito and it’s just sortof bland and not worth mentioning. Overall, if you haven’t tried La Rockita(«The Rock House» in English, loosely translated), then you really ought to check it out — the dine in area is worth it.

If u like Bad quality Mexican food, go here. The meat is chewy and fatty. The guy ringing us up seemed stoned. I wouldnt reccomend it. Burritos are weak. Mine fell apart instantly… Not good

I’m pretty stoked on the spicy pork right now! I’m a fan of the super burrito since I get to pick my own meat, but if you like a lot of different meats the super grande is probably the way to go… the tacos are basic corn tortilla with meat, perfect! The green salsa is amazing, spicy and full of flavor! oh… and they have a great happy hour on Mondays, and Ninkasi beer on tap!

When i moved back to Corvallis, from the burrito heaven that is San Diego, i was worried i wouldn’t find good mexican food. I was happy to find La Roca(now, la rockita). Oh, and radish in mexican food isn’t weird at all. I always get vegetarian options, of which there are many.

The Good: Owned by the same folks as La Rockita on 9th, the Mexican food here is tasty and pretty darn cheap. $ 4-$ 5 nets you a huge«small» burrito. Much more seating and parking than the one on 9th, and 2 big screen TV’s. The Bad: The Chile Verde was a little off the one time I had it here. Could have been just an off day. The Ugly: There was a radish slice included on the taco I ordered. I didn’t eat it, and it didn’t detract from the experience, but I’d certainly never encountered a radish in a Mexican place before! The Rundown: Pretty much the same good quality but low priced Mexican food you get on 9th, with the added bonus of always having a place to park and sit.

This is my favorite Mexican food lunch stop. The chicken tacos are great and it only takes a couple to fill you up. If you are into something spicy, order the spicy pork tacos. Or is you want a big meal, the super burrito is the way to go.
