For $ 17 when as a woman the base price is at least $ 25 I was a very happy to get a haircut here. Not the most upscale but it was quick and she definitely listened to what I wanted. It was also nice being able to just walk in and have it done.

My husband, daughter and I all had our hair cut/​trimmed today. All 3 of the stylists were great — they cut well, gave us great service and were very friendly. Excellent value. Highly recommend.

I had great service today. Very professional and the prices are good. I was looking for just a quick layered haircut and a couple of chunks of color in my hair and the stylist did a great job. This place is great it’s not some fancy salon but if you’re looking for something simple I recommend it.

Needed some hair stuff done on a Sunday. They were the only ones open. Was a bit hesitant due to Unilocal reviews, but decided to give them a shot. Racjel, the manager, was great! She listened to me, didn’t make me feel rushed, and was conversational without being annoying. Place was clean, organized, and staff we’re friendly. I’d go back to Rachel. A nice selection of hair product. Good place. Not cheap.

My son has been getting hair cuts here since he was 2. They were very helpful with video tapes and a cool chair. He is now 18 and has been getting his cuts from Kathy for the past many years.
I have really thick straight hair and it has a horrible way of going straight forward on top. Shannon does a great job of cutting it so that the curler works.

Let me just start by saying that I have given this place MANY chances. I have been going to HairMasters for about a year on and off for a SIMPLE bleach weave, but not once has it been quite what I wanted.
I have had each and every single lady there do my hair, and still have not come out of there happy! Each time, I have something wrong with my hair, and I never feel gutsy enough to go back and ask them to fix it.
I did make the mistake of telling the stylist, Ellie, that she had tiger striped me, and she became a complete jerk, and was very snotty while arguing with me about it, and finally fixed HER mistake, but still charged me over 100 dollars for her shitty job!
Today was the last time I try that place. All of the other gals are nice, and that is what makes it hard to tell them that I expect a better job for what I pay.
Tomorrow, I am going back and telling them to fix it, and never going back!

This location of this salon is a plus. I recommend calling ahead if you plan on doing a walk-​in appointment. They will put you on the list and tell you about when to come in. I have gotten haircuts here a handful of times and they were good, and the price is right. Stylists are always friendly and coupons often come in the mail if you live close.

I just checked recent reviews and saw that Hairmasters is getting beat up on. I can’t argue with any others’ experiences, but in my case, I have never seen or experienced anything but good service at Hairmasters. Both my mother and I have Shannon cut our hair. She is always sweet and professional, and gives a good cut for a VERY reasonable price.
My hair gives me grief so in search of a miraculous, life-​transforming cut, I have occasionally gone elsewhere — only to return and have Shannon repair the damage.

i came in here on a thursday night because my curly, fine hair was getting too long and out of control. after reading the reviews on Unilocal,i was a little nervous. but i was armed with a coupon for a $ 10.99 adult haircut, so i figured as long as i didn’t have kids and had pictures of what my cut should look like, i should be fine.
i was promptly greeted as soon as i walked in, but of course, there were no other customers in the salon, so it’d be hard to miss me! the woman who greeted me had curly hair, such an auspicious sign! i knew this was where i was meant to get my hair cut.
the woman, whose name is Erica, seated me in her chair and began to discuss my hair: how curly it is, the types of curls i have, how the curls react when it’s cut short, where i parted my hair, what products i used, if i flat ironed my hair. i absolutely was in awe – most of the time, no hairstylist ever asks me about my hair and i end up with weird hair cuts. this visit was off to a great start!
after deciding on the length, Erica got down to business snipping away and chatting me up. she’s very talkative and has some really hilarious stories! she also let me in on a tip: if you, as a customer, aren’t interested in chatting it up with your hairstylist, the universal sign is to close your eyes.
Erica told me how she had previously worked at great clips (or super cuts) and was really disappointed in not be able to connect to her customers because she had to give haircuts within a specific amount of time. she also said that she really liked working at hairmasters because not only was she able to connect with customers, but she could also spend the extra time working with them on creating the perfect haircut.
after trimming up the back, she started to work on the sides, angling it towards the front. then, she trimmed my bangs and blended them into the sides – exactly how i wanted it! i have such a cute angled curly bob now! the haircut is great for my face shape and helps me to be more in control of my curls. Erica gets 5 gold stars in my book! if you have curly hair and are on a budget, you should definitely pay a visit to Erica! she won’t even push any products on you.

Due to convenience-​I have given this place several tries in hopes to get a good person but I am done with this place. DONE
Customer service is horrific! «No apt necessary» is supposed to be a convenience but I have stood at the front desk waiting to check in and had to wait for such a long time I walked out. This has happened several times. Not convenient when I have drive across town for a simple boy’s cut.
The couple of times I’ve been lucky to get acknowledged and serviced the cuts have been decent. Not good-​decent. The hairstylists are rude, not patient and not engaged with the customer, I will not be going back.

I wish I had checked Unilocal before going here, tried to bring in my son for a haircut, but he was crying and upset, and like Jennie D., wasn’t very helpful at trying to make it fun. She took so long trying to get the dvd/​tv to work for him that she probably could have just cut his hair and been done with it. Now his hair is messed up because she only got one cut in and it’s uneven. Looks like I’ll try somewhere else to even it out.

I took my two year old son here to get s haircut. He enjoyed sitting in the little truck, but the stylist was snippy with me and not helpful at all in calming his fears about getting his hair cut. I will not be taking him back.

Need a quick and cheap haircut? This is your place. No appointment needed (although I like to make one to avoid the wait). Most of the hairdressers are good, but there is some turnover so you don’t always know what you’re going to get.
I use Jen and she always does a great job.
They have a decent selection of hair products so it may be an option if you have specific product needs.
