Greg’s Auto Service LLC

Short version is that while initially they’re labor rates are priced fairly, these guys looked at my car that had an engine light and had no idea what was going on. They charged me for an extra hour of service to identify the problem and they came back with information that I already had from the internet when I pulled the codes myself. This was surprising since they have signs on the front of their building saying they service both foreign and domestic vehicles. I had hoped to save some cash and support a local business, but the mechanic was awkward to deal with and wasted both my and their time and money. Would not recommend.

I’ve been taking my two cars here for almost four years. I’ve never had a problem with their service. We’ve always been given honest and reasonable quotes in advance, with everything itemized. The guys in the office are really friendly, and take time to listen to me, and answer my questions. They never rush me into a decision.
The work they’ve done on our cars has always been solid. if anything extra comes up while they have a car, they call to tell me about it and they get my approval before committing us to additional expenses. I appreciate this — I’m never surprised by my bill. More importantly, I often save myself the hassle of multiple trips to the mechanic. (In the past I’ve had mechanics that don’t tell me about other issues until I pick the car up, and then it’s a whole additional visit.)
Greg’s is also great about differentiating between issues that need to be addressed immediately verses issues that can wait a while. They also give us a heads up about common problems to watch for in our car, given their make and model. And while they don’t pressure us into anything on the spot, they do turn our ear towards things that might be bigger issues in the future, so nothing really sneaks up on us. Knowing what may be coming down the pipeline helps us plan for future expenses.

Honest. Fair. Quick.
I dont know much about cars, but I have been to mechanics and oil change places that seem to find a million ways to run up one’s bill.
Greg’s isnt like that.
Its usually quick to get in and they are reasonable on every level. Several times little follow ups have been on the house.
