Calabaloo’s

This place is good the first time but the food quality is terrible. I have eaten there a few times in attempt to change my mind but they always disappointed me. The price is too high for fast food quality burgers and fries, as well.

This place is so awesome if you want a little treat. Their mini milkshakes with ice cream are so filling with ice cream goodness, but not too filling because they are mini. You can substitute fro-​yo if that is to your liking. I get the chicken burger because it’s way less calories which is conveniently (or inconveniently) listed. My friend likes the chicken fingers and says they are delicious and crispy. We like to go here to celebrate after our long weeks.

If you’re willing to wait 15 minutes for a cold hockey-​puck, this is the place to go. I do agree with David C., though, still the best burgers on campus. Also, I gave an extra star for their bacon. Thick-​cut, crispy, delicious. Definitely get bacon on your burger, it’s the only way to make the wait worthwhile.

Calabaloo’s has the best burgers on campus, and great, unique monthly specials (watch for the Elk burgers). Can’t wait until September. Seriously, if you like burgers, these are great! They will do any burger with ground beef, a vegan patty, or ground turkey, and have GFF buns!
