Great food of course but damn if you ever order something with tofu or chicken added, don’t expect much. More then a dozen times they forget or only add two pieces. Not worth the extra money.

I like that they use some organic and locally grown ingredients. The location is convenient and I can usually find parking right out front. The chilean zucchini bowl and the smoky yumm bowl are my favorite, they have a great mix of flavors. I give it four instead of five stars because there are mistakes made at times, but any time the order has come out wrong the manager has been super helpful and friendly. The rest of the staff is wonderful as well.

I love this place! Always friendly service and great food! It totally hits the spot depending if you are looking for a snack to a meal. I also really like how the bowls are so customizable and you are able to get extra or less of something. A go to spot for whenever.

I love café yumm and want to give it more stars but the cost is a little high for some of the bowls that have pretty straightforward ingredients. That being said, the price does not keep us from coming back. This is a fast casual place where I know I can always find several vegetarian options, which can’t be said about a lot of fast places to eat in town. Will definitely miss it when we leave. My go to bowl is the Hot and Jazzy and my partner often gets the Southwest Tofu wrap, both are delicious. Also, the cashiers are always super friendly!

I love their rice bowls. They offer yogurt instead of sour cream. I would eat there again if it was closer.

Almost choked on a piece of rubber after the first bite. I coughed up the rubber after it was half way down my throat. I called the manager who asked me to come back and show him. After showing him the piece of rubber he said he had no idea how it got in my food and said there’s nothing like that in their kitchen. He proceeded to argue with me and said he couldn’t do anything except the Heimlich maneuver. I explained that I just wanted my money back and the issue to be addressed for future customers. He continued be disrespectful and threatened to not refund my money. I will not be back…

For the most part this is a healthy vegan/vegetarian option. The portions are on the small side so they are great for lunch if you want to ensure you don’t get too full. They offer rice bowls, wraps, soups, and even a few entrees. The traditional Yumm sauce, while probably the least healthy item on their menu, is delicious. They now have chicken skewers to go with the teriyaki glazed tofu option. The seating is rather limited even thought there is also an upstairs seating area so if you hit lunch rush hour you might have to wait a short moment to sit down. They do however get your food out quite quickly. Enjoy!

I LOVE this place. Obsessed. I always get the yumm bowl wrapped burrito style. There is usually always a line but it’s pretty fast service. I would recommend at least trying it. Some people either love it or some people don’t like the taste of the yumm sauce.

I think it’s a love or hate thing for the yum sauce. For me, that sauce is nasty. But some of my friends love it. It kinda taste like this shrimp paste that’s a common ingredient in the Asian culture.

Okay place to get healthy food. I usually get tempeh skewer and hot and jazzy bowl. Original bowl is also good. Iced tea is strangely satisfying with this kind of food so i usually get them. Other than that this place is just okay

Been here several times. Don’t be fooled by the vibe, this really isn’t health food. You’re getting a bowl of rice with a fatty sauce, cheese, sour cream and some other toppings. The bowls are filling because it’s all fats. The flavors are good but the proportion of toppings to rice is sad. There’s better flavors, healthier options and better value near by.

Man, I wish we had these in Northern California. They had the best soups and you could order it with a glass of wine. I was in heaven. The next time you’re cold and hungry, come by here! You will not be disappointed! And Café Yum? Please, please, please think about expanding to Cali! We need you over here too!

Yumm! sauce is not something I have ever found elsewhere in terms of taste or concept. There are recipes out there to make it at home, but I think the charm for me in having a Yumm bowl in the brightly colored, sturdy bowl of good food(alternatively available in a white take out container should you desire this), steaming with beans, rice, avocado, olives, tomato, cilantro, sour cream, THE sauce, and whatever else you decided hits the spot. I was a traditionalist for a long time but had the spicy Jazzy bowl a few days ago and it was perfect. Recovering from winter head crud(a cold) the sesame jalapeño salsa was the taste that came through most profoundly, and in a great way. This location on campus is convenient, cute, newer, and full of friendliness and good food. What else do you want?

I love their cheese sandwich that’s hot with pesto. I always get that. One time it took forever for them to make it which sucked but I love the sandwich. I haven’t tried anything else from here.

I have been to Café Yumm many times and love the bowls. I usually get a medium sized original bowl or the edamame bowl. I have tried a couple of the soups. I like that it is gluten-free friendly so that a friend can eat with me. Kristin B.

I love the chicken skewers and of course the signature Yumm sauce. I don’t care how«full of fat» everyone says it is. Full of fat = yummy. Just dip a little chicken in and don’t eat it all. The rice bowls are quaint and filling. The up top seating is nice and out of the way. The order at the counter is easy and quick. Stop by for unique flavor and fast service. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Café Yumm confuses me. This restaurant is probably home to the smallest bowl to most full ratio I have ever seen. That, probably, is the reason why I haven’t figured off if they’re utterly ripping me off or not. The prices are really high for the volume, but it does fill you up… In addition to that, I got the feeling walking into the store that they prided themselves on making healthy, tasty, nutritionally sound food. I’m not convinced anything they serve is any of these things. The food is some strange combination of delicious and awful. The food, while vegetarian, doesn’t strike me as particularly healthy due to generous portions of cheese and cream. It just seems to me that their intentions are good, but their execution is lacking.

If you asked me after the first time I went here, I would have given it five stars. However, the more I eat here, the more I dislike it. The Yumm sauce is SOGOOD, but, as other reviewers have mentioned, that is because it is full of fat. In other words, not healthy. In addition, the price is WAY too high. 90% of your bowl is rice, the rest of the toppings are minimal at best. A 50 – 50 ratio would make me a little happier, but not much. Also, $ 2 for chicken… no thank you! The two times I have choked down the cost, they have only given me what amounted to 2 ounces of chicken, not even a serving size. I have tried probably 5 of their different bowls. All have unique, distinct flavors but the original problems still exist. There are so many good things to eat in this world, try this once, then move on.

This place reminded me of San Francisco a lot. Modern décor, a nicely designed website, healthy food, small portions, and overpriced. I’ve only gotten their bowls and Meg G. was right about the portions. I got a small the first time and then I got a medium which was basically the same amount of food as the first. While the sauce is really good, I think they put wayyy too much of it. Its always swimming in sauce! All the ingredients are fresh but I could easily make this myself for pennies. I find a lot of people either love this place or hate it. My roommate who told me about this place is always raving about it but I can’t seem to get any of my friends to go with me since they all hate it. Haha. Its good for a quick healthy lunch. The place is small so its usually hard to get a table so I always get it to go.
