Gymnastics City

I booked a birthday party here for my son who is turning six. They cancelled the party on a weeks notice because they were completely inflexible and irrational unwilling to engage in a productive dialogue about particular special requests that my son had regarding what his birthday cake would look like. I asked repeatedly for solutions and tried to engage in productive dialogue. The party planner, Elena, was completely irrational, went on an inappropriate emotional tirade based I can only assume on her own personal drama, and cancelled my kids party on a weeks notice, penalizing a CHILD for her own failings as a human.
She (I assume) had likewise told my sister in law that her child was probably not capable of paying attention if she wasn’t potty trained yet and watching her was her own problem while the big kids were in the gym when asked what would be available for my three year old niece to do while the older kids took the class…
This is supposed to be a family place and «35 years in business priding themselves on being family friendly» is a total crock. If you are considering having a child’s birthday party here, think again. There are other places under 20 minutes away that cost ½ as much are are twice as nice and accommodating…

Today was my first visit to Gymnastics City. I brought my 2 boys to my little cousins 4^th birthday party. On an average day my younger son can be a handful and likes to run off more often than he wants to follow direction. Today he was more than a bit tired and cranky. The staff was absolutely wonderful!!! They encourage him and went above and beyond to make sure he was included and having a wonderful time without disrupting the flow of activities throughout the party! Thank you guys!!!

My daughter has been at Gymnastics City for about 5 years and it has been so gratifying to watch her personal confidence grow and her skills improve. The instructors are encouraging and motivating and their system for developing the characteristic of a persevering attitude is a gift. One of the many instructors who stands out as far as developing an interest in gymnastics for my daughter is Ms. Amanda. And Liz at the front desk is as knowledgeable as any about the world of gymnastics and cheer.
