Monty’s Mosquito Lake Carry Out & Restaurant

That fish sandwich I ordered was T H I S big! At least a foot long… on a hotdog bun… what??? Yup. It was very big and, I dare say pretty good too. No, can’t give ya 5 but okay when you are very hungry. A nice greasy spoon.

Good breakfast good service good price don’t really come in for lunch or dinner probably good though.

What’s that you say? Greasy Spoon? Hmm? Ohhhh, you said Monty’s! Sorry, I hear synonyms in my head sometimes.
Now, I’m not saying greasy spoon diners are bad, but you certainly feel the grease when you leave.
All of that aside, the breakfast is so good! I’ve never had anything but breakfast here, but hello corned beef hash melting in my mouth! And those eggs! Perfect! I’m a sucker for diner breakfast and I love Monty’s.
The décor is… unique if you’re not from Mecca and don’t know what to expect. This IS a place where hunters hang out… with their kill, so you must be prepared for the pictures and wallhangings to be a bit… dead. But that doesn’t change the fact that this place is tasty and small town wonderful.
